Corrado Heat Shield Hood Liner (New Group Buy)
neuon2003 replied to Southie's topic in Forum Group-Buys
Put me down for a VR6 version, no logo, please. -
Try an open container of baking soda under the seats (bicarbonate of soda). Can buy kg bags on ebay quite cheaply.
-
Yes, still interested. Drop me a PM when you get back. Have a good trip.
-
I'll take the headlight protectors if they are complete and undamaged. Please PM details with P&P to Sheffield. Thanks, Andrew

Hi Dave, 1. OK. No rush. I think Tom (PurpleTom) has removed before and knows the pitfalls to getting them off damage free, if you need any tips :-) 2. Great. I presume they are in good condition and damage free? 3. Have seen the picture in the post. Looking for a mint one, so will pass. 4. OK. Let me know how much you want for items 1 & 2 and please PM me payment details. Many thanks, Andrew

Hi Dave, Interested in the availability, condition and price of the following, posted: 1. The outer rubber seals which run around the top of both doors, complete with small black pin. 2. The trim which is fastened on the back edge of the rear door cards and holds the rear seat belts in place. 3. The rear Corrado chrome script badge (any pictures? ). 4. The black push-in covers for the door card screws. Cheers, Andrew

Here's one for redborbet (Matt). Dropped off a wheel at a friend's. Has been a star to do business with. A real treat.

Hi Tom, Can you let me know on availability, condition and price on the following: Roof trim hinge caps Slam panel radiator brackets, spacers and rubbers Tailgate anti-rub circles (the back circles on the body. They come off when boiling water is poured on them) Rear Corrado script badge Handbrake top cover Door card pins and surrounds Covers for door card screws, the two on the rear edge of the cards (not hinge end) Center console Driver's shelf and fuse box cover (need to be straight) Carpet Door sill step covers (the flat, ribbed - or Corrado script- ones) Steering cowl, top and bottom Cheers, Andrew -
I would be interested in trim you might remove, condition and price depending.
-
Yes I want to take one. Slight issue is that I am working overseas for a few weeks. I'll PM you to sort out collection for delivery to Sheffield.
-
I would take one if splitting.
-
Yes. I just did this recently. 1. Remove the plastic cover attached to the slam panel. 2. Remove the four screws holding the fan cowl to the radiator. The fans themselves are fastened the cowl. You can pull the cowl away from the radiator. 3. You can then get your hand/a long screwdriver in there to put a new belt on/replace the existing. 4. You might find the screws are in poor shape and will be awkward to remove and may need replacement. Only costs s few pence from the dealers. A new belt is about £10.00, if I remember correctly. Cheers, Andrew

I'll take 2. Please PM me payment details. Thanks
-
Yes and now online http://www.bardwells.co.uk. I love going in the shop as the main man is so fantastically grumpy about life. He makes Victor Meldrew look like an optimist. But it is a brilliant specialist shop.

Try Bardwells on Abbeydale Road, just before Chippinghouse Road

Try this stuff to protect the rubber. http://www.einszett.co.uk/Gummi-Pflege.php

Hi, If you were to consider splitting, I am interested in the door cards. Sheffield based. Cheers, Andrew -
Can I take these please if black? Please PM me payment details and postage costs to Sheffield. Also, do you have the two seat belt trims which sit on top of the rear 'door' cards? Cheers, Andrew
-
Black one please.

This. Over the years I have used just about every product and technique there is (and groundnut oil at 90p a bottle is easier than using peanut butter!). However, the C4 stuff is the most durable I have ever used. It is expensive but worth every penny. Just go easy on the quantity used. I think there is a guide to how to apply on the gtechniq site, or Detailing World.
-
If they are the central locking type I'll take them. Please PM payment details.

Redfox: That looks fantastic. Do you have more pictures/a thread?
