  2. Big thanks to Leon263. Items well packaged and dispatched very quickly with tracking number PM'd straight away. All arrived in perfect order and very quickly. Thanks mate!
  3. I use Megs NXT gen all metal polysh with good results. (No its not a spelling mistake!)
  4. What are the width of those? Wouldnt go too slim as things happen.............as you well know!
  5. See I think they are very subtle which I like. Look at a Focus RS, now that is a sheep in wolves clothing. Trying too hard, and at the end of the day, its still a Ford Focus. Big lairy body kits and stupid bright paint colours do nothing for me.
  6. Drove it. Handling when the roads are damp is still quite confidence inspiring, but wheel spin is getting pretty damn annoying!
  7. My Uncle has a Passat CC, and I had a drive back in it from an experience day a few months back. Very very nice actually, I was pleasantly surprised. Golf R, Scirocco R...... same thing different body.
  8. Hi Emma! You could put it in the footwell, and there is actually a spare grommet/hole for the wiring just underneath the ABS pump which would is directly in front of the glove box undertray (ish). I wouldn't go cutting big holes to fit it in through the bulkhead though as its structural. Another option is to build your own box which can be recessed in where the wheel arch is in the boot. Looks neat and tidy and doesn't really affect boot space. Just don't turn it up too much with the dog in there!
  9. You can't see last post in individual sections with tapatalk either which I don't like. It keeps binning me out and not recognising my log on too. It then automatically puts a googlemail bit on the end which is an account I don't even have, so its annoying. I prefer the standard site tbh.
  10. Wish I was in this predicament! Thats a hard one tbh. I think the Rocco looks better lower spec, but the 3 door A5 S-Line looks fantastic. It depends what your circumstances are as well I think. The A5 is slightly bigger and it comes in more door form too so at least you'll have a good bit of room if you regularly have people in the back. Think the A5 will probably depreciate less too tbh.
  11. Last update on the Saab I promise! Drained the fuel by disconnecting the filter (which was the only place as the filter is on the engine bay bulkhead) and kept priming it until it all came out. Replaced the fuel filter and topped up with 25l of DIESEL! and it fired up and idled fine straight away! (Thank f... for that!). It was booked in for MOT four days after the missus did it, so put it back in and it failed on rear beam brake imbalance. Swapped a caliper out for a recon pagid item from ECP and jobs a goodun! I've now just gone and spent £500 on parts alone to sort it out and hopefully turn it into a car that'll last a little while. DMF, Clutch, CSC, Cambelt, waterpump and lots of service items which it sorely needs. Wish the missus would let me spend that sort of money on MY car though! :(

    what colour

I prefer the beige personally tbh......
  13. Welcome to the forum Gordon! Its a greak source of knowledge here, and I'd also suggest the Corrado Club of Canada that has a lot of information also. Stick some pictures up of yours, always good to see how which direction you guys across the pond take with regard to modding.
  14. Thanks for the offer, and although very tempting, I think I'll pass..........
  15. Its possible to remove the old races using a hammer and drift, and to get the new ones in using a 38mm (I think) socket. Its an easy DIY job tbh mate. If your replacing disks as well, worst case is you can take a new set of disks with the new races to a garage and I'm sure they'll press em in for you for a couple of quid. Much less than what they'd charge you to replace the whole lot.

    Indicator Fault!!

Probably thermostat. They usually get stuck in the open position, so water is constantly being cooled by the Rad. (Corrados use a heater matrix connected to the coolant system). If it gets warmer when sat idling, but cools down when driving, I reckon thats your problem. What engine do you have? Reason I ask is that the older types (I think its just older types) have bypass valves on the hoses to the matrix. This is to stop excess pressure blowing the matrix, which will scold your feet and fill the car with steam. VW actually recalled them to modify the bypass valves iirc. They also get stuck in the bypass position especially if the matrix is original and a bit clogged, thus creating back pressure. Or its just the matrix itself, in which case good luck with that! You can check if your thermostat is functioning correctly if you touch the bottom radiator hose. It should be cold all the way up from starting until temperature reads 87 degrees, at which point it opens to allow circulation to the rad for cooling. Do a search, theres plenty of info as its asked quite frequently.

    Indicator Fault!!

Indicators will flash fast when one is out. First off you need to make sure you have a good connection to the bulb itself. As they're spring contacts (little metal strip to the back of the bulb), over time they loose their tension on the bulb and don't make sufficient contact. A small screwdriver to pull it out a touch more has worked for me on a number of occasions. Next step is to check you have voltage to the connection. Its then a case of tracing the wiring back to see where the fault lies mate.
  20. Jammy sod! Wish I could afford a shrick. :(
  21. Sorry to keep adding to this Leon, can I have a drivers side window regulator too please. Mine is very slow going up this morning! And to be clear about the door handle, I mean the outer one. Cheers mate!
  22. I've made a cock up Leon! I need the top door car trim not the scraper seal, sorry! If the other guy doesn't take them, I'll have the pair please mate. I still want the passenger handle though. Thanks mate.
  23. Not sure if you're aware Matt, but one of your HT leads is hanging off...............:ignore::lol:
