Ive not experienced it coming loose again although its only been about 8 months. I used a bostik branded one, although if hinesy has done a full interior it sounds like he has more experience than me.

They do tend to take a while to warm up tbh Rog. Water temp will lead oil up to 90 and then stay there, then oil temp should rise to between 100 - 120 depending on driving and outside temp conditions. As components (temp sensors) start getting on a bit, as you can imagine they start becoming slow to react, and misread a bit. ECU and indicator temps are read off of different sensors, so getting a live readout from VCDS will give you a better indication even if not 100% accurate. New sensors are not too expensive so if they're suspected to be inaccurate, you won't need to re-mortgage to change them!

Looks great Rob, paintwork looks stunning! Well jel! :awesome:

As long as the material is not too thin, I used spray carpet adhesive to good effect on my leather where it was coming away from the top of the door cards. I tried it in the corner of the roof lining fabric though and it soaked through a bit and has gone hard so I wouldn't suggest it for that.

Ok mate thanks. I'll have a proper look at the weekend, but I think it's coming from the crimped part of the hose just after the filter. It's spraying upward I think so I couldn't see exactly where it's coming from. I'll have a decent look before worrying too much. Pretty sure worst case is a new fuel pipe and filter so not the end of the world.

Did you have to replace the line Rob? Where did you get if from mate?

Noticed a fairly significant fuel leak today. Ive been really lazy the last week and have driven the short distance to work, which means the car barely gets up to running temp so I sit in the car (in the warm) for 10 minutes at idle when I get there. I noticed a smell of fuel first thing this morning but put it down to cold map giving it extra fuel. Came back from work and noticed a small puddle under the filter, and on switching the car on its ****ing out of the outlet from the filter. I nursed it home hoping it wouldnt go up in flames (its quite near the bend in the exhaust) and shut off, by which time its getting dark. I wont touch it now until the weekend when I investigate further, but I think its coming from the pipe just in front of the filter. Got home to a slip through the door from myhermes, saying package was in the back garden. Thought great, all red rears have arrived! Its obvious he threw the box over the 7ft high wall, and on picking it up, the rattling pointed toward something amiss! Opened the box to find that they'd been terribly packed for a start, (just squeezed into a box with no protection) and the top of one of the lenses is cracked, and the top and bottom of the black plastic lip is now broken on one. Ffs! Not noticable when on and it doesnt affect the operation, but its not the point! All in all, not a good day today!

Well I know that the difference between driving a Corrado and an M3 is that other drivers tend to show you a different digit......... And the other lot you have, well there's not really anything special with them is there!??? We all just want to be noticed really, and driving a Corrado gets you noticed, but in a good way!

It was at around £675 when I checked last night whilst watching the boxing, but had gone when I checked first thing this morning.

More like scene tax...........

Yeah replace it. It may just pull off, but most of the time they're glued on so you'll probably end up destroying it to get it off. New one will just push on. The leads on the dizzy have to be in the right sequence for firing order, so I'd suggest putting a bit of tape on each lead and writing where they go. (Top, bottom, front, back) sort of thing.

Ok go on, make that 4!

Jammy sod! I'll have to have a nosey round when I'm down next mate. I'll come down in mine and we'll do a two car meet at the rock or something! Lol. Congrats on a cracker, look forward to updates!

I'm watching this, even got quotes from transporters..............:silent:

Yeah two clip that just pull off. Just make sure you put it the right way round when putting it back on.

Well worth it if its not been done in a while. Take it off and have a look at the points, will give you an indication if it needs changing or not. You may be able to clean them up a bit if theyre not too bad. Worth doing the rotor arm as well at the same time.

Oh ****, I thought this was tomorrow!!!!!! :bonk::shaking::( -
Alright mate, do you have a roof aerial base and antenna? If so, how much posted? Cheers!
-
Seriously, why are you even asking this, get it bought. A few hours of polishing will bring the paint up if its just a flat.
-
Easy enough to weld new ones in. I assume it was track orientated previously then?
-
Get it bought mate.

You can pick up a cheap interior for probably £60, then do paintwork slow time. Depends just how bad the bodywork is, and how much it'll cost you to get it roadworthy (if its not already - minus interior) but that sounds like a pretty reasonable price tbh.

Did you find out if the AAA head is a direct fit onto the ABV Ian? Looking at those prices, I may well invest in one! Did VEGE have anything else to say that may be worth knowing on this?
