  1.:lol::lol: Go on, make my evening. lol
  2. Got any photos James? May be easier to value with a idea of condition etc. Have a looksee what standard sets go for and add a bit on top as a rough guide would be my suggestion. I'm sure someone else may be a little better placed than me to value them though as I've never seen another set for sale that have been re-trimmed tbh, so I don't know what this sort of thing generally goes for. Any experts out there???
  3. Cheers pal. Do you have car parts in every room in the house now?
  4. Hmmm, 3 users, Me, Cazza, and Joebloggs.................. If there are guests/non members viewing it may be what your seeing?
  5. Good effort mate. What tint spray did you use? I need to get some to re-do mine as well.
  6. Why did I miss this, aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh second dibs on wings if they're rust free. :( How much for passenger door and bonnet if they're rust free and in decent knick too please mate.
  7. Over £60 for a bit of plastic, think I'll carry on and struggle.............
  8. Cant see them being much more than current prices tbh.
  9. Got one Wednesday night when filling up, a couple of yoofs walked past and one flicked his fingers at me, and said "dat car iz baaaad man". I assumed he actually meant good, so replied "cheers" Before getting in and driving off before my wheels did a disappearing act!

That is immense! I'm seriously contemplating going to speak to the bank manager! That's a very very good price for the spec too!
  11. If its too far from Dox and you can wait until the 14th of December for collection, I'll have it and can pay now if your in Bristol?
  12. Your insurance shouldn't go up because its a cat c, but as we all know, these insurance companies are a fickle bunch. You will see a rise due to the accident regardless of whether you were at fault or not though. You will need a VIC check from VOSa too. The biggest outlay on what you're suggesting is the paint, so if you can get someone you know or someone to do it cheap you should be ok.
  13. Just make sure the mating surfaces are free from rust and brake dust with a wire brush, and thats it, as you say they just sit onto the carrier.
  14. Ah yeah, I may be getting a bit confused with the fog then..........
  15. I'm pretty sure if you were loosing that amount of water through the HG youd notice poor running and signs of it in the oil. Did you bleed the water system properly when you topped up after changing the HG? Water level warning could be the points on the expansion tank being clogged with scale and other such crap, so may be worth changing that, but was it you that changed your clocks recently? Could be a duff replacement....
  16. Theres a whole tunnel including gear gaitor on ebay atm mate. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161125652416?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Edit; disregard, apparently its gone.
  17. Thats what you need to think about. 30mm lowering springs may look great with certain size wheels, but may look terrible with others. Coilovers are the safest bet, and you can pick up a decent used set for around £150 if cost is an issue. I've got FK Konigsports, and they're ok but thats about it. They have adjustable damping but it needs to be set before fitting which obviously doesn't lend itself to whole "adjustment" based on your preference. I think these are the next up from the Highsports iirc.
  18. Dying to find out what youve got eh Rog! Lol. If it was late December or early next year I'd bring mine down. At Butlins at the end of this month for a 90s w.end though.
  19. Look forward to seeing this James. I rubbed mine down today actually, used 1200 grit but the tint was very thin and uneven so its almost orange again in places. I'll take it right back and start again, but I'd like to see what you use for the pinstriping as thats a very good alternative to using LEDs. I dont want the reverse lights completely tinted out either.
  20. Starter motor is a diy job and not too expensive, and you'll be able to see the ring gear with the starter removed to assess if there is any damage. If that needs replacing then its a gearbox off job unfortunately. Dont let it put you off though, its far more likely to be starter motor only so see how you go mate.
  21. You can but its quite far back so you wont get much movement on the handle. Can be done though mate.
  22. You can send them away to mrinjector for cleaning Rob. Do a search on here, sorry I cant provide a link Im on my phone, but they give you a printout and % flow rate before and after. Someone posted it up before but I think theyre pretty well thought of.
  23. Yeah I'd say the solenoid is sticking and if your lucky just the starter motor gear is goosed. Worst case is that as its been sticking on continuously for a while, its shredded the ring gear on the flywheel too.
  24. Noooooo don't do that! Use the wishbone mount if doing it a side at a time. If its too low to get your jack under, drive onto a bit of 2x4 or something. If you need both of, use the subframe Rog. Reason for not jacking at the sill, is that its pretty thin, and the underseal will get wrecked and create a perfect place for rust to start. Lots have been consigned to the scrapheap for this very reason. edit; Not Kips reply, the one before.
