  1. The one from tierod is described as pressure regulator which may help your search. Think the one at £87 is from vw heritage so if you go for that one, use the discount code on here and buy it through their site for a little saving!
  2. Suspension has been on a few days now and done around 50 miles so I'm sure its settled. Got to say the ride is sooo much more comfortable than the Weitecs! The rear does seem a little firmer than the front, so I still have the whole issue as above in the back of my mind, but I'm at 330mm all round from centre of hub to bottom of arch so think I may have dodged the bullet. Its sat little higher than before and not quite the perfect stance imo, but I'm still happy enough with it and the ride more than makes up for that. Even changes in road surface brought crashing from the Weitecs, where as these just soak them up like any standard suspension. Road noise has noticeably decreased as well so the whole driving experience is so much more pleasurable for me. Getting old I know! Excuse the filth!

    G60 wing

Then you need to get them painted! lol
  4. The missus just put this on my radar after spotting it on facebook. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwibwtP2zo7LAhWC2BoKHcjgDMEQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.beachbuggin.co.uk%2F&usg=AFQjCNENSS7M8YVUbTLTSkvqM4D1tO4plg&sig2=h6QBfE24kxpJVxvJEC-1rQ Half price entrance for club stands (£10 normally so £5 per vehicle) but free to the walking public. Still cheaper than parking in the area! I'd be willing to organise on behalf of CCGB with permission, or even for the Forum if not. Date is 7th August which is the same weekend as the Scirocco National day, and the week before our one at VW Festival. Anyone interested let me know on this thread, and if there are sufficient numbers I'll try to get the ball rolling. :thumbleft:
  5. Looks tidy that Rog! I know you like a bit of jap though, so no great surprise.
  6. No, the aux pump just circulates the water after the engine is switched off when at a certain temperature.
  7. The body iirc. I'll try to find a pic tomorrow but you may find one if you google images of corrado abs relays
  8. There should be a kind of bracket with slots that the connectors sit in. Its quite far up so difficult to see if you just have the undertray removed
  9. The relays behind the glove box are for the ABS. No idea what the thermostat is for, or the A/C bits as I've never seen an A/C car wiring tbh mate.
  10. Toad Ai606 are very well thought of. Not a bad price too and it'll be the one I replace mine with. Where did you get the brake shields from, or are they your original refurbished? Looking good anyway! I really want to get cracking with my underside, but don't think it'll be until Spring next year now unfortunately.
  11. How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?
  12. Sorry, should have mentioned that. I've got the fast road ones.
  13. Theres not a lot you can do if its discoloured or so scratched its misty, but have a look on detailingworld. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php Have a look in the review section, and have a look on at the bottom where the detailing stores post up as they give DW forum discount if you register to be a member. Worth trawling through the exterior or glass section to see if its been asked before, as others will have given recommendations.
  14. Looks really good that, top job!
  15. Think theres a guide in the wiki with pics that may help you find whats what mate.
  16. What bits formed the repair kit? I bought a really cheap cassette from the scrappy for a mk3 Golf, stripped it down and swapped the broken parts out. The only bit that is different is the front slider, as the Corrado one has the hook for the tilt of the interior trim. Mine is now perfect!
  17. Yeah standard ones are much more compliant, and will last far longer. I don't know why people bother with polybushes, all I ever hear is how they are trashed within months of being fitted. For track purposes I suppose its fair enough, but with the state of our roads, they just don't re-form where they're stretched so much and so often.
  18. I really wouldn't bother with the subframe bushes. They don't seem to last very long at all! With the VT mounts, I'd say go for it with the front, possibly the rear, but don't bother with the Gearbox mount. Theres no real weight on the GB mount, so all it does by getting harder ones is transfer noise and vibration into the cabin. I have all 3 VT mounts on mine, and I'll be replacing the GB one for standard shortly.
  19. Thanks Rob & Daren, You're welcome cmalyan. Looking back on seanjaymos old gallery thread, I'm a little worried now. He sent up the replacement springs that Eibach sent to him eventually and the new owner posted a side by side pic. The ones that he had trouble with have the same part number as mine................... I had a look at daves16v thread as he had them fitted too, but he didn't show a pic of the springs themselves. Does anyone else have this setup and have pics, or can confirm that the springs you have are the same part number as the spring on the right in the link below please. (3rd pic). http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?80155-Corrado-Part-Duex-24V-Aqua-Blue-She-s-gone&p=1092121&viewfull=1#post1092121
  20. Fronts now on. Went relatively smoothly although I forgot to mark where the lower bolts were so I've got mega negative camber now its back on the ground! Got a trip down to JMR coming up soon though to sort all that. Only have N/S pics as it had started raining by the time I had got to the O/S, so had to rush a bit. Front is sitting a bit high at the moment but hopefully it settles down. Fingers crossed I don't have any issues. I'll get some pics of the ride height tomorrow after a bit of a drive, and they've had time to bed in properly.
  21. Pretty sure you can still get them in the exact same size from VW. Last time I heard they were about £25. Obviously not the "original" but at least it'll be in date!
  22. Yeah, all VR6s are plus axle mate.
