There should be a 13mm bolt and nut that secure it to the wishbone. The threaded part screws into the arb itself. That one is 17mm
-
I saw that and wondered why it was pulled so quickly! Fair play!

They're probably special order, which usually takes 2-3 weeks to come from VW classic parts to them, from which they'll dispatch it to you.
-
Thanks for all the positive comments gents, much appreciated! :thumbleft: Michael, I think your car has an absolutely perfect stance. What will you be swapping them out with?
-
Yeah he had the teves20 system and fitted a mk4 servo & MC. From what I remember, he had a bit more pedal travel but more efficiency, although I imagine it could be a little snatchy like that.

Full Interior from VR6 - Black Cloth - Excellent condition
seanl82 replied to Bails88's topic in Parts for Sale
He's really racking up some spares! Got a load of interior parts off of me last month. As you say, top bloke, and could have talked for ages had it not been so cold and him have such a treck out of his way (Thought I was in Farnham not Fareham! lol). -
Thats quite reasonable actually, I was expecting something like 2 or 3 times that! Thanks bud. :thumbleft:

More Exposure for the Corrado - Modern Classics Magazine

You'd know if you had one with those badges.................... :notworthy:  -
The one from tierod is described as pressure regulator which may help your search. Think the one at £87 is from vw heritage so if you go for that one, use the discount code on here and buy it through their site for a little saving!

Suspension has been on a few days now and done around 50 miles so I'm sure its settled. Got to say the ride is sooo much more comfortable than the Weitecs! The rear does seem a little firmer than the front, so I still have the whole issue as above in the back of my mind, but I'm at 330mm all round from centre of hub to bottom of arch so think I may have dodged the bullet. Its sat little higher than before and not quite the perfect stance imo, but I'm still happy enough with it and the ride more than makes up for that. Even changes in road surface brought crashing from the Weitecs, where as these just soak them up like any standard suspension. Road noise has noticeably decreased as well so the whole driving experience is so much more pleasurable for me. Getting old I know! Excuse the filth!

Beachbuggin on Southsea Common
seanl82 replied to seanl82's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Thanks Eric! -
The missus just put this on my radar after spotting it on facebook. https://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwibwtP2zo7LAhWC2BoKHcjgDMEQFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.beachbuggin.co.uk%2F&usg=AFQjCNENSS7M8YVUbTLTSkvqM4D1tO4plg&sig2=h6QBfE24kxpJVxvJEC-1rQ Half price entrance for club stands (£10 normally so £5 per vehicle) but free to the walking public. Still cheaper than parking in the area! I'd be willing to organise on behalf of CCGB with permission, or even for the Forum if not. Date is 7th August which is the same weekend as the Scirocco National day, and the week before our one at VW Festival. Anyone interested let me know on this thread, and if there are sufficient numbers I'll try to get the ball rolling. :thumbleft:

Ive gone to the dark side, Rog's new whip.
seanl82 replied to Roger Chatfield's topic in General Car Chat
Looks tidy that Rog! I know you like a bit of jap though, so no great surprise. -
No, the aux pump just circulates the water after the engine is switched off when at a certain temperature.
-
The body iirc. I'll try to find a pic tomorrow but you may find one if you google images of corrado abs relays
-
There should be a kind of bracket with slots that the connectors sit in. Its quite far up so difficult to see if you just have the undertray removed
-
The relays behind the glove box are for the ABS. No idea what the thermostat is for, or the A/C bits as I've never seen an A/C car wiring tbh mate.
-
Toad Ai606 are very well thought of. Not a bad price too and it'll be the one I replace mine with. Where did you get the brake shields from, or are they your original refurbished? Looking good anyway! I really want to get cracking with my underside, but don't think it'll be until Spring next year now unfortunately.
-
How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?

Anyone running vibra-technics engine mounts or power flex bushes?
seanl82 replied to Backitin660's topic in Newbies Hangout
Sorry, should have mentioned that. I've got the fast road ones. -
Theres not a lot you can do if its discoloured or so scratched its misty, but have a look on detailingworld. http://www.detailingworld.co.uk/forum/index.php Have a look in the review section, and have a look on at the bottom where the detailing stores post up as they give DW forum discount if you register to be a member. Worth trawling through the exterior or glass section to see if its been asked before, as others will have given recommendations.
-
Looks really good that, top job!
-
Think theres a guide in the wiki with pics that may help you find whats what mate.
