  1. where's this then? The one we went to see? I could do wih a few bottles at that price... Yes the same one, i just went in their by chance and was suprised at the price.
  2. Audi West London sell 5l of synta silver for £11.50 inc vat. i bought two bottles last week
  3. i'd go with Petes sugestion of getting a AAA in there, there will be negligable difference and the block will most likely be in much better condition than an ABV. They are easy to source and you would have your car back on the road with minimal cost.
  4. Hi, i remember giving you some advice when you were trying to get your fitment sorted. Wheels arent going anywhere at the moment but if i do ever sell them i'll let you know.
  5. Thanks for the comments everyone, as for the 263's i now have them running as they should and coupled with the remap the engine runs as well as i could hope. They have improved the midrange torque and the engine jus wants to rev so it gets driven hard quite a bit :) Daily driving is taking its toll though, i have a few maintenance jobs to do and need to clean up the paintwork. My rs's are also getting rebuilt at the back as i managed to source genuine 1.5" lips and they'll go back on once the weather improves.
  6. With those offsets i would say go with adapters. You need 20-30mm depending on where you want them to sit in the arch.
  7. We need to know the offsets of the wheels to give you the right advice
  8. gutted for you, must have been difficult watching and not being able to do anything!
  9. you contact Phil Walker outside of ebay, can usually save a bit too http://www.pwmotorsport.com/
  10. Nice work on the obd2 conversion, if i had the time i would have liked to do it to my car too. Wheels look spot on too, 16'" rc's are the perfect wheels for a purposeful corrado. I was looking for a set last year but they are not easy to find.
  11. Nice, who polished your lips and where did you get the centres painted? Apart from your oe set I think this will be the best incarnation of 301's you've had on yours.
  12. A 7945 will have excellent sq, its the predecessor to the Cascade i'm using at the moment so i can recomend it. The thing with beckers is that they sound good out the box, and require minimal adjustments if any. A 7945 will have a bit more adjustability than say a Mexico or Grand Prix as you have variable crossovers and a basic 5 band eq but the sound is great. If you can get one cheap then i would definately get it. They also have the benefit of blending in with the dash so do not draw much attention.
  13. No cosmetic changes, just the wheels... i'm running on some bbs rc's at the moment. Apart from that the usual upkeep of a daily driver :) I'l get some pics up now the weathers better
  14. The wheels really suit the car in a purposeful way, it would be rude not to use your new brake clearance and get some 4 pots
  15. As it happens i recently upgraded to a becker cascade so my grand prix is for sale i just hadn't got round to advertising it yet :) Pm me and i'll send you some details across.
  16. I have heard that they are no longer making headunits for the aftermarket. Have aread of this thread, http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&t=806397&hw=becker&nmt=Why%20is%20it%20so%20diffcult%20to%20buy%20these%20becker%20headunits?
  17. awesome rims, i didnt know you could buy them new still, where did you get them from?
  18. matt the cars looking as good as it did when i saw it last summer 8)
  19. I might make the Journey up this year, depends on the weather :)
  20. it takes some effort to keep a car to that standard year on year, looking good as always 8)
  21. The miminum offset required to clear the rear suspension on an 8.5 wheel will be around et33 depending on your wheel design and ride height, the wheel will site nicely inside the arch at that offset.
  22. thanks for the info, i bought a complete set from here in the end http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150402441757
