Well, in a way that's good, at least you C's not buggered!! -
My 1990 valver over-reads by 5mph across the board checked against GPS, as does my wife's about to be scrapped renault 19.

Can't give you any specific advice but the feedback on the forum would suggest that if anything is wrong, the lads at the Phirm will have it nailed dead quick! Good luck mate. -
ADR M Sport Alloys.. Nice or Rank? You decide...
colinstubbs replied to capnahab's topic in Exterior
Yeah they've nice wheels, although as they're 'a bit fiddley to clean' and I'm a lazy b@stard in a drought stricken area I'd probably not clean them enough, which would screw them so I'd not actually buy them myself!! I like smooth and easy too clean! -
Sounds like you could do with adjusting the mech

Big Thanks to B5VWC (Bobby) for sorting me out with a number of bits, Thanks again for the addition of bit on bit, patience appreciated, esp all that wiring!!!!! Good work fella Colin

Sub installed...........and room for the shopping!
colinstubbs replied to Storm Monkey's topic in ICE 'n' Secure
You could make a bracket to attach it to the top of the suspension tower, where the parcel shelf support is attached by a nut/stud arrangement. That's what I've done, with that and the close fit I have with the rear seat and rear bulkhead it's well secure! Mine's a Jekyll and Hyde box, tidy from the front, mdf and fibre glass filler monstrousity at the rear  Works ok with it's little 8" though  Err........Yeah just read that back! -
Also with the Classic you can make a single payment of £99 for lifetime subscription once you first year is up, all the newer stuff cost that for 3 years or less!!!
-
A days work sounds about right, I had a concept 50 fitted years ago and that took hours!

Hurrah for E-bay, sorted!

Reading the above american link the chap seems to suggest that the lowering speed is around 30mph lower than the raising speed. Mine goes up at around 48mph indicated and down around 8-10mph(ish) so that would seem to bear this out. That means if yours goes up at 30mph it might never go down ever again!!! Ohh Err missus!

Do the standard ol' plastic lens protectors not fit the Angel-eye lamps then??

I've got a standard(ish) 1.8 valver and was wondering where I can source a set of these from? Would Mk1 or mk2 Golf lines do the job? Are there any length issues  ?!
