...but it looks exactly like the one he did do ;) (albeit slightly shorter so the tip of the blade is inside the black surround of the rear screen) meh, you get the idea :D Edit: It works a treat too! 8)

It's not one that 16VG60 has done, but illustrates what it looks like.... http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/download.php?id=10131

So who'se green Storm did I flyer at about 5:30 in Newport today? I'm guessing it's nobody from here as it was filthy and had standard wipers
-
Heh heh, worth bearing in mind next time some Essex bell end says the VR is crap :D
-
Just failed my MOT and have 3 days to renew my road tax....

If you're gonna change all the rear pipes, it might be worth investing in some Mk4 calipers... you'll need the Mk2->Mk4 Goodridge flexi hoses and the calipers from C&R. The whole lot should be £200 delivered and you'll have a properly functioning hand brake after ;) -
You sure he didn't just ease off cos he was going fast enough? I woulda thought he'd leave you for dead. Nice to know he didn't tho 8)

Just cos the back of the car is way up in the air don't mean the exhuast is any nearer to the axle tho ;) I really like the noise on the VR exhaust as it is... it's pretty much silent and makes just the right amount of noise when you give it some stick. If you want to listen to it you turn the stereo off, if you don't you can put some music on and be none the wiser 8)

I think that I'll probably stick with the standard exhaust too. My VAG one has lasted 10yrs so far, so that's good enough for me. The only thing I do like about the SS exhausts is the nicer end pipe, but that can be bought on it's own.
-
But well worth it, even in the winter because it dries the cabin out nicely. It's especially good in summer tho 8)
-
Mmm bacon n eggs on your exhaust!
-
 I'm sure they exist...how many millions did you have to spend ;)
-
Isn't that a bit of a silly question? Especially considering where you posted it ;) Corrado alllll the way. Yes they're expensive to run, yes finding some parts can be tricky, yes they have quite a few weak spots, but dammit they're great to drive (when they work) AND they look infinitely nicer than some crappy Mk3 Golf :pukeright:
-
If you can still get parts for sodding air-cooled junk, you should still be able to get them for the Corrado!

http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5638 Anything on there useful? ;)
-
That rule stops applying when it's an expensive, pain in the arse job to do ;) lol, not they don't, but they do a nice set of matrix mounting bolts that keep it much more firmly in place
-
Ahh that had occured to me, it only seems to do it after the AC has been on, so hopefully nowt to worry about :)
-
Ah cheers, you got the idea :)
-
*sigh* why oh why oh why do you spend that much money on a stereo and then go and play MP3 files on it  cretin.
-
Yup, they don't seem to have any purpose other than to cover up the weld spots along the roof. As my car has just been resprayed the manky old strips look a bit out of place, so I got me some new strips.
-
Yay, mine arrived today and they do look rather nice 8)

Hmm, it was doing it before the hose went, so could be getting to new pump time :(
-
It's not what you've got, it's what you do with it? Or something ;)
-
Yeah, see what you mean mate! Cheeky git.. And it wasn't me making the slurping noises ;)
-
Audio is a curve of diminishing returns. The difference between a £20 and £150 set of speakers is huge, but the further up the scale you go, the less improvement you get for your money. Spending £22k on a stereo is just silly, I can think of more aurally pleasing things I could get for £22k (V8 Cobra replica anyone?)
