I don't know of one, but I'm sure there must be something on here... if you find it/do it please can you take some pictures for the how-to section?
-
And if you can't find the glass on ebay, you can get it from http://www.gsfcarparts.com for £25ish + VAT
-
Those are some interesting pictures, but you may want to edit your post subject to get Corrado spelt properly :)
-
Someone posted it up on here a couple of weeks ago, but it's always good to have it in more than one place. I'm not sure if Andi has put it up on his Fast Purple site or not tho
-
Ok firstly, I'm sure there are places that are both more qualified and will charge less than half than in labour. Second, you can probably do it yourself. Take some time and find a switch from a car someone is breaking and have a go. Not too sure if it's a dash-out job though, if it is then you're looking at a big load of work.

You still have the lock mechanism in there, but no actual lock barrel, so it has to be opened by the remote locking. So you can decide what the pros and cons are to that :)
-
Ohhhhh ok :D well the same rule applies, the longer you've got to buy, the more cars you can look at and find the right one. Remember, whatever you do, don't buy a car without seeing it and getting an hpi check done.

Now now ladies, handbags away.

My impression on the mounts was as follows... You can put a Shrick on an engine with standard mounts, but you need to hack a bigger lump out of your bonnet in order for it to fit. If you do put an uprated mount on, then the Shrick fits better (you still need to hack the bonnet a bit) and you'll have less chance of the mount snapping and seriously modding your bonnet.

It's down to the condition of your car and how long you can wait to sell it. If you're in no rush you should be able to get pretty much what you want for it as long as it's not rediculous.
-
I'd say about £3,500 - £4,500 assuming it is actually in vgc, but it is dependent on what condition it is in, if it's had anything done to it, if it's got any extra options and most importantly who is buying it. Your best bet for comparison is to ride autotrader for a couple of weeks and see what cars of similar spec are going for.

My 94 C has silver/chrome badges.

I can vouch for the Meguire's stuff too, tis good stuff.

Yeah sorry by standard I meant the dealer fit one, but they were all the same model AC. A few people on here have enquired about it before and the £1k mark was always about right, you may be able to save a few quid if you know someone though. And Storm I totally agree, once you've had AC there is no going back. It's even good in winter cos it also dries the air so your windows don't steam up.

That's probably because the engine doesn't develop any torque at those revs, especially if it's a K series Exige! 75% throttle, not revs ;)
-
Will do, one side is going to be brand new paintwork anyway, but I'll use the dirty side for comparison :)... just got to wait for the C to get back (or even go in!) to the bodyshop now...
-
If I was paying top money for a Storm I'd expect it to not have a mark on it and the wheels to be pristine, not reconditioned... but then I guess that's just me
-
Excellent work my friend :D With any luck, mine will too as it'll be back from the body shop and will get some TLC from my newly purchased P21S kit. We need to organise a meet nearer the time! 8)

The standard VR air con is the nads, it's a proper icy blast... you can sit in traffic all day long and not even begin to sweat :D But as kevhaywire says, it does put a fairly noticably drain on your power, but if you're going to be giving it some welly, just turn the AC off for a bit. The cabin won't suddenly turn into a sauna. And as far as retrofitting goes, don't do it. It will cost you at least £1000 and will undoubtedly give you a rattly dash, unless you DIY in which case you're talking months of having your C off the road. Useless bit of info number 468513: The Exige AC system automatically shuts down if you use over 75% throttle :D

...and the order is placed :D 8)

really???? i thought that john whitle guy did a deal so that it was about the same price?? i thought you were very happy with the swissol stuff kev? why would you want to change? You can get the started kit from John at that price, but that doesn't include the wheel cleaner, the trim detailer, the drying cloth, the hot environment polish or the extra cloths. It's still good polish though.
-
Oh sod it, why not... it's not like I'm gonna have to pay the excess on my insurance for at least another month anyway :D Edit: although it does look like if you do the complete kit, you get 2x 303 ?
-
So it'll last another 3 weeks then? ;) I'd be interested in some of this stuff, probably Option 2, but I really should wait til I get my C back from the body shop :D
-
blimey, it really is quite standard then! And a real minter
