    Awesome

Yeah that makes it look a bit like an over sized shoe rather than a car... I'd like to take a gander at that engine though. Those seats look pretty funky too...

yeah sat in it on sunday. Ooooooooooooooh

    Awesome

    8) 8) Coooooool Although I bet it handles like a turd with that weakened chassis and the engine weight completely the wrong place.
  4. http://the-corrado.net/how-to/index.php ... tails&id=1 shows you where I did mine....
  5. There's nothing wrong with the standard ride height but it does look rediculous on those 17's without being lowered.
  6. Sounds like the one - http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=13232 ;)
  7. £9,500 is taking the p... what your dealer said is about right. I really wouldn't pay over the odds for a Storm, because it's just a badge. You can get identical, if not better specced mint VR's for less than £6k easily. And as far as I'm concerned, the fact that it doesn't still have the original wheels would lower it's value, as would things like an induction kit etc. If you're going to pay over the odds for a Storm, you want it to be in pristine, original condition, otherwise your're kind of negating the point of having a Storm. Edit: oh and if you find a Storm for the £5250 it says in Parker's BUY IT!!! The trade guide numbers for Corrado's are rediculous.
  8. Blimey, good choice to get it done. Where are you taking it? My C's going in to P&R out by Gog Magog on the 16th, so when it comes back it'll be better than new :D
  9. Blackberry C with colour-coded new style front grille going into Newport (Essex) at 5:45pm Didn't catch the reg tho and I was in my Corsa, so I didn't think it was appropriate to wave

    Am I mad?

Buy one of each colour/type :D
  11. I can't help you with fitting it, but if you can take pictures of the process that would be great. Then I can add another how-to to the database :D

    Aux Water Pump?

Ooh interesting, I would have thought they'd have saved the extra cost and just used the VW parts... I've got a Galaxy breather valve on my VR, I couldn't give a monkeys what badge is on it as long as it does the job properly.

    Aux Water Pump?

I would have thought most of them have VW badges on... ;)
  14. Sorry got a bit carried away with hacking the big session ID off the end of the URL. Thanks bcstudent for fixing it tho :D
  15. You can see the difference the new blades (and arms) make on the how-to thread. I used 2x driver side ones and they work wonders http://the-corrado.net/how-to/index.php ... tails&id=2 ;) Edit: fixed the link
  16. Yeah 2 VR's in 6 months but then the 2nd one at least wasn't his fault and the first one is being brought back to life.
  17. :o:o there are some horrific things that people do to cars... now where's the advert with the crying Golfs....?
  18. Yeah simple is the best way, looks good 8)
  19. Looking good... could do with some lights tho :D
  20. What, like the 'little' jack dent in the sill... hmm. Might get them to do that at the same time as they're gonna have pretty much the whole side of the car off anyway.
  21. The aircon should work regardless as it's just an on/off switch and a 'give us all you got' switch.
  22. That Ferrari somebody posted a thread on last week's got nothing on this old lady... she parked the car in the roof! http://www.local6.com/news/3496358/detail.html
  23. Yeah will do, roundabout basics 101... but with a new set of rear suspension, proper Bridgies...and in the dry :D
  24. Yeah me too, it only took them 3 and a bit weeks , but at least I didn't have to argue with them :D
  25. Ok I called Sheppards today and they'll get them in by Thursday. They should be £19.40 inc VAT, so I'll PM you and we can work out payment/collection/delivery :) Edit: £19.40 each, not total
