K plate valver in Skem asda last night. Same colour as mine, with an empty spec next to it. 8) Would've been rude not to park up next door! Still there when I came back, so I flyered him with the forums' address. Anyone?

Only noticed the other week that my ciggy lighter is out of a Ford! :pale: Felt like lashing it and looking on gaybay for one out of a Yugo (as an upgrade) Edit: Oh aye.. Welcome to the forum mate!

Looking for my 1st Corrado, which one do I go for?

Yep, you'd get a nice valver for that budget, mate. Get the buying guide from HERE printed off, and ask if any of the nice people from HERE can help you out when you go to look, and you prob won't go far wrong. Welcome aboard by the way. :D -
Cheers chaps. Looks like I'll be keeping it real, then. Sigh... More Dollar.

Afternoon all. Got a bit of an exhaust dilemma on the go at the mo, after my OEM backbox threw a bit of a wobbler yesterday, and declared its independance from the rest of the system. I'm scratching my chin now, wondering whether to stump up the £112 ECP want for a genuine replacement, (of which they've no stock btw) or go with the likes of a Bosal one. Not Too arsed if Bosal don't quite match OEM for longevity, but I don't want some godawful tinny pea-shooter hanging out the back end of my motor. Anyone got/had a Bosal backbox, and do they look the part? Cheers.

Corrado spotting - April 2005

Saw the VR that everyone keeps tellin me about, for the first time yesterday. Red, M reg, and looked dead clean. Funnily enough I met the bloke who owns it a few months ago. He saw me parking up in mine one day, and came over for a gab (he wasn't in his car at the time) Told him all about the forum, but aint seen him post yet. You lurking, mate? -
Only down the road from me. Good reputaion by all accounts. Seem to remember Gav say he's had them fit out 2 of his motors, with good results.

Oh, welcome to the forum by the way. :)

If you put a cover on it mate, it'll just attract even more attention. Get it immobilised andkeep an eye on it

Same thing's happening to me. Mine was diagnosed as a fecked rear mount causing the engine to sag and something to touch on something else. My noise dissapears under acceleration, due to (I think) the engine lifting away from the sagging mount. If yours is the same, don't worry about getting it fixed, just drive ALL the time like you were late for a date with Kelly Brooke :)

Tee Hee!! Local Yoof Burn down Speed camera near me!
Louie Lungbubble replied to rado-steve's topic in General Car Chat
Had to laugh on my way into work this morning. Twin skid marks on the dual carriageway going from the outside lane, right across to the inside, skuffed kerbstone, ploughed grass and one very unhappy looking GATSO camera flat on its arse, staring up at the sky! Conversation in the car probably went.... Vroooooom.... "SH!T... SPEED CAMERA!!" "OOH! OOH! OOH! OOH!!" BA-DUMF!   -

Corrado spotting - April 2005

Never ever spot any Corrados in Skem, but just passed one on a roundabout 100 yards from my front door. Dark blue. Private reg **COR. Either no front grille or a very modified one. Gave a thumbs up. Got goldfished back! -
But wouldn't a K reg be the later spec car anyway? Thought they changed over H - J reg. edit: Or was that J - K reg?

You've got good eyes for an 85 year old, Joe!

The American market only got G60's and Vr's (SLC's) so it's more likely a G. And I doubt my 1.8 would stick it with a 306 GTi 6 for too long. Toooo Heavvvvy...

Looks like someone's been busy. :) What's going on there... Is this a bit of an emerging trend?

Have posted this one on the forum before, But here's a 'proper' pic of me, taken somewhere in the Lake District. (Without Slot's Formula 1 spoiler photoshopped onto my heed) -
Ahhhhh... Hence the bandages on the fresh-uns! Maybe I wasn't dreaming after all
-
Thought what they fired out of that gas cannon were fully feathered, fresh pheasants wrapped up in, erm... bandages?? Or did I dream it?

Not yellow, but not far off 6ft by the looks of things. Big ugly gets. (Bet it's even uglier now, though)
