anyone for custom pulleys? What psi would you like, sir...;)

this is the problem - i've been playng around with exel to see what relative ratio's are etc for known circumferences and outputs to see what correlations there are.... dink - i think thats 2 pi R OR PI d your thinking of for circumference - ;)

right then. with regard to supercharger pulley sizes and as there's more and more charged vr's around, I want to work out what pulley sizes give what psi output. With the data I have, can this be done? for the driven pulley - From stg 1 kits, a 3.125" pulley gives 6 psi, at 7000rpm, I think From stg 2 kits, a 2.7" pulley gives 8 psi, at 7000 rpm for the driving pulley - The crank pulley looks to be about 132mm (anyone confir this or correct this figure? - vernier calipers are too small to read the diameter directly) So if the rpm and driving pulley are constants, can an excel spreadsheet be done to indicate psi outputs and varied pulley sizes to be made????

i'm there on 7th but that'll be obd1 stg 3 hopefully with no MAF - its now running with no ISV and the MAF connected with the cooler and schimmel first run - pitch black!!!

you really need to go through autotrder and cars for sale on the forum and show what a corrado with 65k sells for - glasses just doesn't work for low mileage corrado's

Chilly, i'm surprised you haven't mentioned the one that me you and chrisky chased. Down the a19 over 150mph, black with red roof and a gorgeous blonde driving it!!!! Don't fancy the job of changing tailgate - would prefer to switch the glass from a tailgate I have but heard some horror stories about front windscreens.... Whats the advice? Change glass - if i can get a window fiter to do this i'd prefer that to changing the tailgate and all the wiring? ....or are rear screens a pig and rarely fitted well??

thats an early interior - bad advice, dragon. :wink: - as a newbie, you should be aware the panels are different regarding CATing - CAT D would not be on the log book - CAt C may but not in as many words. If you didn't already know, I have electric recaro's for sale but just the seats. recaro electrics

Suprprised yo had problem?? Didn't find it hard to get them through the hole and fitted the passat locking mech so they hit no bother and very quickly. Personally, I wish I'd never fitted my supercharger.......... :? realy wish i'd fitted a diesel or something, for better fuel economy or a smaller petrol engine... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . NOT!!!!!!!!!:wink:
