  1. ..........its the sunny weather - wishing i had a rear wheel drive convertible hairdressers car to play in the sun with 8) getting a bit sick that i haven't been able to get it sprayed and i ain't been anywhere with it this year........

    depending where you are, could do a head gasket no probs - as nosky says - give it a clean before jumping to conclusions........
  4. prices seem to vary widely - so whats a good price and what do i look for with g60 chargers?
  5. Been offered a 'J' G60 145k in black any advice chaps - never bought a g60 before - and whats a good price as I'd only be buying it if its a good price. anyone after a g60 in black as I may pass on the details????

  7. is it posible to buy the sandwich plate by itself and if so, does it include the thermostatic control? I can get pipes and a cooler made up so would ilke to get the sandwich plate by itself...
  8. don't think the local constabulary would like that look, chris 8) - no indicators, lights, rear window, sunroof etc.......but hopefully, they couldn't catch me anyway ;)
  9. new pics on first page with paint update - due to new job, its taking longer than expect as i'm away from home but hopefully worth it....
  10. i think the front of the car look really GOOFY or fat lipped - definately in the not like crowd
  11. wouldnt advise filler at all as it would surely crack - its too deep and flexible - don't really like the front smoothed look - personal choice i spose but are you sure? i've just took the lines out of mine .....and if it at the painters. surely you've left it too late to consider this
  12. i think you'd have to be pretty heavy handed or have bad paint work to damage it with a caramel wheel safer than using noxious fluids o remove the remaining glue etc - i'll get a price
  13. you want something called a caramel whell which strangely smells of caramel and is soft rubber - i've removed mine and it took atll the crap off in minutes without any damage - i'll see how much they are and can send them out if anyones interested
  14. of al the corrado's and sspension set-ups i've had (7 vr's and i think 12 different suspension set-ups) - i'm most pleased with the koni coilovers i have now and for conventional springing, i found h&r's give the best handling/comfort combntation. i haven't tried the set-ups mentioned but do know these 2 mentioned perform well without being harsh
  15. its off - like to do things right regardless of how little they cost - big hammers and brute force are not the way - unless totally necessary, of course ;) thanks for comments - lockity lock.
  16. got the screw out and it appears to pull backwards but not sure and fdo'nt want to breakl it - anyone removed one recently?
  17. come - on guys!!!! some one must have taken these off without busting them!!!! i've took a screw out from the pointy end nearest the hinge and it would appear they have to slide backwards but not sure and don't want to damage them.....

    aaarrrggghhh!!!!!! not another sunnroof thread!! Do a search as there a a few comon faults and you should find oodles of info

  23. the projects probably half way from the original concept but don't know whether i'll go all the way - i've got pistons drwan up and a surce to get them custom-made-forged with con-rods and a rebore to take it to 3.3 ish, amongst other things
