i have a jetex stainless cat back system. cost me 400 quid but it is great. as quiet as standard, no chav'd up tailpipe to speak. just functional and powerful.

the allen bolts that hold the caliper carriers on can be stubborn, to say the least. have a new set of bolts on standby (from the dealers). get some new discs, pads and bearings. its pretty straightforward to do, as you'll see when you remove the old discs. bit of careful hammering required to drive the bearing tracks into the new discs.

they are certainly nicer than wellers. and wolfrace slots the borbet a's are the nicest o/s rims on this thread so far though

good news bro. corrado's are vital for happy living

make sure the offset aint bananas too. i put a set of 7 x 15 bmw wheels on a mk1 golf once. they stuck out further than the arches. not good. NEVER good.

yep sounds like the clutch release bearing just live with it until you are ready to replace the clutch!

only a little ding. it'd fill . . . tough break though mate. its horrible to see a corrado looking like that. although did i see nice light grey hole-free parcel shelf in there? (hey life must go on!)

my parents were really strict, and i had to be home early until i was 16 etc. and i was always up to my neck in trouble. (most of which they had no idea about) me and my mates roamed about (on a pretty nice estate) in a gang causing trouble. we all came from 2 parent families (a rarity) and most lived in nice 4 bedroom houses. i think when you are kids, you dont appreciate that the stuff you are nicking, or vandalising actually hurts and costs the owner - as you dont own stuff like that yourself. like if some scote kicked my back fence down now, i'd be livid. but when i was 14, a "garden run" that resulted in the odd broken fence / greenhouse was just fun! doesnt make it right though.

his vtr was completely standard. he was too pussy to lower it. and his favourite film was "dirty dancing" - for real - he even knew all the dance moves he also would play the "grease" soundtrack at high volume in that saxo. he referred to the saxo VTR as a "sports car" he and the saxo were well suited
-
the draw with the honda ctr's is the cheap price tag cost wise they are only a few steps up from a VTR a lad who i worked with had not 1, not 2, but 3 saxo's. he bought a VTR from a main dealer, and, as it had done 15000 miles, everything went wrong. the drivers seat broke, the power steering broke, the front susp top mounts collapsed. so, he went and bought a BRAND NEW ONE :( after a few months it had to be returned to main dealer, for THE FLOOR TO BE WELDED as it had developed a big crack. absolutely disgusted with this. what does he do? he bought a VTS from the same dealer  now the VTS is better, its what the VTR should be. still got the same "wipe clean" seats, and rattly bodykit, and citroen under 10K build quality though. all of these cars were bought on finance. ffs if you want a lightweight french rattler, find a Pug 1.9 205. or the 306 GTI 6.
