  1. the lights look sweet! but that front bumper looks awful mate.
  2. make sure your drivetrain is in generally good condition. as the extra power will "unearth" any fruity cv joints a friend of mine had a charger on his c vr6. he said it was absolutely awesome, but it ripped the 3rd gear cog to bits.
  3. i have the same problem! any answers to this?
  4. if it is the outer track of the bearing stuck in the hub, you should be able to hit it back through. there is a lip on it, get a "suitable drift" and smack the shiit out of it. think of "handy andy's" hit record when you are doing so . . . .
  5. try direct line and privilege both are pretty competitive
  6. cool! 8) if you fail to use a corrado, or if you mistreat it, it will get it's own back. 2 mile bump start? bet that were fun!
  7. the ATS cup's remind me of wellers  now i'm showing me age. i like the borbet A's though.
  8. not my bag of chips, but props to the guy's dedication. someone has spent a helluva lot of time on that car. i bet in the circles he mixes in, he's the daddy. and they look at our "subtle brit" mods and think "phuh. vat ees thees crapola?" one man's ceiling is another man's floor . . .
  9. my vr6 has done 148K i had a pug 309 gti once. once it got into the 90,000's every single part of the car broke. the big ends went, the gearbox, the rings, the lot.
  10. took the :?: out of my mouth thanks guys
  11. I am gonna run components up front (5.25 in the doors, plus tweeters) a la some good advice sought here. anyways i read that the tweeters need to be near to the main speakers. so where are you guys putting them tweeters? any pics? i'd like to leave the speakers in the dash still run from the headunit aswell as the rear 6 x 4s. .:. thanks .:.
  12. its the car that just keeps on giving!
  13. no freaking way! i always thought that my intermittent wiper time kept changing
  14. i'd like to see that the development corrados were badged as "sciroccos" too
  15. cool!!! in that case anything goes!!!! i'd try to fit a speaker behind the panel, (not attached to the panel) then just fit a grille into the panel itself (and spray same colour as the rest of it)
  16. i think if you cut up your rear cards you'll regret it at a later date. see if you find a used set and experiment with them. or even completely replace them with home made speaker housings.
  17. if bigger the bumper the smaller the cock i better take off my bumpers ;)
  18. how do you change the filter anyway?
  19. a tired pump will whine best when fuel is low a pump with "foreign bodies" in will also be a whiner if it is the pump, it will be clearly audible when you get you head next to it it could whine for months, or it could stop whilst on the motorway. i'd get a replacement planned before you get in trouble.
  20. on my old mk2 golf, i replaced the side repeaters with wolfsburg badges it looks smart!!!!!!!!!! but then i wouldnt go sticking karmann badges on it. why, thats crazy talk
  21. they have to pay for all the fat fucking cunts in suits that sit around doing fuck all, then drive the fuck home in a fat as fuck company fucking car. the fucking good for fuck all cunts. shit. wankers. :D
  22. the main dealers are fitters. they dont fix, they fit. i know mechanics who have worked at main dealers, and they are "stifled" by company rules that wont allow them to repair, only replace. (it does allow them to rob many good parts that are needlessly replaced though) with this "fitting" mentality, the good mechanics are weened out of the loop (ie they feck off and work for a garage, or go self employed). and mistakes happen. and the main dealer hourly rate is really high too. the prices main dealers charge are criminal.
  23. its a filler-cracking beauty. file this bumper in the "blind alley" category
