Seriously though if you fancied doing someting like that (which will be fairly marketable as more syncro diffs break and the haldex unit is both stronger and readyily available.) Obviously porting the entire 4motion electricery is well beyond most peoples wants and needs so there is a gap for a simplified controller - and obviously I am interested because I am one of these people! :D Where abouts in the country are you? if you are interested then I will pm you with the details of the spec that I fancy setting up. I have some pretty cool ideas :D

how about doing a management system to control a haldex equiped 4wd car? using the abs system to detect wheel speeds? :D and I will test it for you ! :wink:

bo11ocks forgot to attach the pics! BTW I have to admit I sh1t it and got my mate andy in to help with the diff mounting. I trust his abilities as the drag car in the second pic down was all his work.

Well - thought I would post some progress pics up of the my new bracketry for the haldex diff. Its all mounted and ready to fit up the shafts and wishbones, then I have jut got the prop to do before its ready to be sat on its wheels.

haway.....its still a corrado albeit a rare one, but I dont think it would affect the value of the car at all if it had aircon properly fitted - why would it? Now I could see your point if you took one of these cars and stuck a ridiculous spoiler on it or anything that made the car look different. a corrado storm with aircon is still classed as standard in my book. see what I mean?

aircon would be a goer for me - so what if its a rare car? hes not selling it, so he may aswell have it how he wants it - surely?

I think I have gotten off quite lightly really. I think the whole package is going to cost me about 7 grand completed and on the road - not bad for a what its going to be, a 300bhp 4wd bright yellow corrado :)

tried to phone them today - straight onto answerphone - I have left a message but no reply as of yet. Getting a touch worried now......

Slowly mate - I am just trial fitting the back axle now, then I have to fabricate some mounting points for the diff, then fix the prop, then get an exhaust made, THEN get the car repainted! Other than that its ready to go :D I am up for a regional meet, I know a few lads who would also be interested, keep me informed. Is ChrisVR6Nos fitting the charger and the nos to his new car then?
