right first off if it starts going into the red then you should be filling up asap.....letting the pump suck the dregs of the tank isn't the best idea as its bad for it and if it hasn't been serviced in approx 20k miles you should get this sorted out asap the very least a 16v should need is a oil and filter change every 10k miles/12 months......... also have you checked when it last had a timing belt changed......cos going by service schedule  your car is under this might be on borrowed time

more than likely going to be a G60......as the G60 was for sale as LHD-only until 90/91 H-plate
-
yes nugget yellow is available on the G60 but i think its quite a bit rarer than the 16 valver to find you might have to go into england in your quest for one too
-
this might be a better pic of ice grey violet too sorry you'll have to excuse the dodgy looking guy driving it  as for interior it would probably be more than likely grey leather though the one ess_three has tucked away  had black leather which now resides in scotcorradog60's motor now
-
here's a pic of ice grey violet and as for A/C i think most deep-freeze places can do this for you as for price not sure but if its never been re-charged it points to neglect and A/C bits aint cheap
-
a tad dear for a 93L but it is a very well-specced one by the looks of it...........one thing that you must check tho......when was the A/C last re-charged?as this can be a problem area........been bit with that before on my 944 turbo :? not cheap   again if you get it inspected then bargain from there..............btw if its got black leather then that will be one hell of a nice C.........black leather and ice grey violet would be my idea combo on any C 8) 8) 8)

at the end of the day its your money...........but be aware the only real difference between a storm and a good spec VR6 is a couple of badges,colour-coded grille, solitude wheels and if its mystic blue the paint  .............so in effect your paying quite a bit of a premium for pretty minor cosmetic changes i would try them for under £9k if it was me
-
and IMHO probably the best colour ever for the Corrado 8)
-
if in doubt then get it done...........but your not just restricted to Jabbasport these days...........darren aka G-man from G-werks on this forum should be able to help you out
-
no the 2.0 16v Corrado engine is an audi(also used in early Passat's IIRC) based unit.....whereas the mk3's 16v unit is whats known as the ABF engine......though they both have the same capacity at 1984cc
-
i take it your joking there.............the Corrado was never sold on the SA market
-
the newest Corrado that you will be able to get anywhere in the world is a JUN/JUL 1995 build date one
-
do a search about this as there was a few threads on it earlier on this year
-
they will only come on with the lights on...........i take it you've tried this? or it could be the bulbs are needing changed or the switches are dodgy
-
 leaking oil??? and on TV too  what will people think :?: anyway nick that might be the solution to your C's wee oil leak prob......also you should find your oil consumption being a bit less too as i seem to use just under 2litres of the Gold-stuff between oil changes(5k mile interval)whereas someone i know who uses the silver gets around half that sort of consumption

Amusing Corrado thread on PistonHeads...
vr6storm replied to Linus Van Pelt's topic in General Car Chat
it all depends on the eye of the beholder......must admit it was very striking when it was first released but seems to have dated quite a bit......though i've also always like the shape of the Alfa Gtv and considering this was released less than a year later than the Fiat IMHO it still looks quite fresh apart from the rear lights which does date it too -
do they still have them in stock though :?: or is it just their advert thats never really been updated for a couple of years :?:
-
Wide Open Throttle or something like that

Amusing Corrado thread on PistonHeads...
vr6storm replied to Linus Van Pelt's topic in General Car Chat
this is a new one on me too   "nubbin Wednesday -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I had a Corrado VR6 for 2 years - absolutely brilliant car, and I still miss it, 3 TVR's later! The Fiat Coupe is fast, flaky and flawed, the Corrado is a gem. Get a "Storm" version though - slightly tuned engine, leather interior and THE Corrado to have..." though must admit in the C VR6 versus Fiat coupe 20V T debate.......the fiat just totally devours the VR6 in a straight line............at a VWCCGB RR-day a couple of years ago Skid's mate and now boss took his Fiat coupe 20v T along and took me out for a spin round the block in it........just couldn't believe how fast the thing was   ........though on the way down it he did have to pull over for a while to fix his wiper mechanism as it came off when he was using the wipers....pretty impressive on a 5 year-old car.........also the timing belt change is an engine out procedure and he was getting quotes of £1k+++    though its quite long interval IIRC 70k miles........anyway he made the most power on the day too...221bhp   -
 missed that one!!............the one i was meaning was...........55litre fuel tank
-
that ain't the inaccuracy tho
-
just a bit but whatever floats yer boat sanj...........of course you could drive about wearing a gimp mask and have chains supporting the parcel shelf etc...........the "bondage Corrado"
-
here's a pdf file with minor technical info for the 2.9 VR6 ABV-engine code and see if you can spot the minor inaccuracy  btw i downloaded this from the previous VWCCGB site a couple of years ago so all credit is due to whoever it was that uploaded it in the first place........just can't remember for the life of me who it was tho :?
