classic green of course IS the coolest colour for your C 8) :wink: though ice grey violet,tornado red(not pink),met black,all the met blues and blackberry all suit the C too as for the greys i think there was maybe 3 or 4 different hues pearl grey storm grey ice grey violet(tho this is more blueish than grey) and the grey that munkay's C is(can't remember the name or code for it)

white is probably one of the hardest colours to shift re-sale wise though it isn't too rare there are two different whites on C's alpine white which all g-60's and 1.8 16v's will be in,and even some early vr6's and 2.0 16v's can come in alpine white(step forward pau1) and candy white which is relatively rare(due to it being a really crappy looking white-imho)candy white is a 93 onwards colour if i remember rightly so no g-60's or 1.8 16v's will have it

the vr6 bonnet has a raised bit in the middle whereas all 1.8 16v's and some g-60's have a depression in the middle but most 92 onwards C's will have the "vr6"-style bonnet or as someone on here demonstrated(can't remembr who tho) __----__ vr6 bonnet,92 onwards some g-60's and all 2.0 16v's ---___--- 1.8 16v and some g-60's bonnet pre 92

The original Seat Ibizas weren't, but I s'pose you're right on that. true......but then again you did say the 2nd seat ibiza's :wink: .........and if i remember rightly the hot-hatch first ibiza's were the 1.5sxi and the 1.7 sportline and i'm pretty sure the sportline was one of the first(first generation ibiza's with vw-group input).....although when the ibiza was first on the go they made a big deal about having "system porsche" engine

just mind tho joe......150bhp was quite a bit for an eighties hot-hatch and was still a decent output for a nineties hot-hatch :wink:

used to have one prior to me discovering german motors...............and "experienced" the joys of combining 150bhp,rwd,a 22 year-old driver and of course a nice wet round-a-bout :shock: :lol: :oops: :evil: luckily just my pride was dented but joe it doesn't really qualify as its more a Grand-tourer than hot-hatch......my post my rules :wink: :lol: LOL

totally agree with you there jeremy...........if you're only budgeting for about £3-4k then the g-60 is the better proposition.....the VR6 can be bought pretty cheaply now but is more than likely going to be needing a bit of money spent whereas the main(not the only thing btw) thing to ensure with the g-60 is that the charger has had some attention recently.....also the standard suspenion on the VR6 is more suited for autobahn cruising than for blatting about in twisties which even a std suspension'd g-60 can really show a VR a clean pair of heels they've each got their advantages and dis-advantages.....if i had enough spare cash i would buy a g-60 C in a flash......but still keep my VR too

ah but not all of us seen the light :? ..........i was a total ford man thru and thru til i discovered german motors 8) about 10years ago ps...........seat ibiza's are vw-group so don't qualify :wink:

ah but nige m8 all G-60's have the early style dash controls and the un-refined :wink: heater controls.....even some very early VR6's have the early interior

yeah the original clio 16v counts.........it had 137bhp and the williams 1/2/3 could count too as they had 150bhp
