in response to that, i did actually fit a leftover set of full crystal in-pro rear lights to my sis's C last night! i was expecting them to look hideous, but on a graphite metallic car, they're not as bad as i thought they would be! they do actually line up properly too, and don't leak if you seal the edges with clear silicone. plus she really likes them (and trust me, she's about as far from a chav as it's possible to get!), and that's all that matters... i have smoked/red FKs on mine and they suit the aqua blue, but will be going oem tinted red in the near future i think...

Ach, ain't that much of a secret really, just a set of wheels... :lol: will look better with centre caps and tyres obviously, and the width (they're actually 7.5") will leave enough room for a proper slam...

The font doesn't conform to UK law, but I think technically because it conforms to German law, which is part of the EU, then the font itself is legally allowed (at the mo)...

Errr, you can fit the Passat W8 lights panel which has the red downlighters, but it needs a bit of fettling as it's deeper than the standard panel... :)

Isn't Syncro mechanically coupled whereas 4Motion is the electronically controlled Haldex system? I think the later Passats were 4Motion but this is one of the earlier ones... Comfy pimp styles tho! If you get some Merc rims on it and slam it into the weeds that is... ;)

As long as you get the correct spigot rings for VW centre bore (57.1mm), then the 4x100 holes will line up. You're right though, I'd run some 5mm spacers to push them out a little...

We already have two (technically three if you count my sister's), and trust me, they're helping keep the Phirm in beer money! :lol: What some people are failing to understand is that a lot of people simply don't care about handling, sportiness, prestige, heritage, and all that stuff in a car - they just want something that they like the look of and gets them from A to B with the minimum of fuss. If she likes the way it looks, she should buy it! She certainly shouldn't not buy one just because it's not good enough in our eyes... ;)

I believe H&R's website does state (in a tiny, hidden note) that you may require wheel spacers with their coilovers if using standard wheels. Best get a couple of 5mm spacers to push the wheels away from the coilovers...

oops, never good! also had an issue with those Votex 4-spokes I bought - turns out two of them are 4x100 and two are 5x100! At least in that instance the seller is exchanging two of the wheels and paying for all incurred shipping costs... :) As for the new wheels, let's just say I'll be needing some 5x130 adaptors... ;)
