  2. To minimise arch rubbing but without too much of a stretch, your best bet is 215/40-16
  3. Should be fine; Laura (scarlett) is running 9x16 ET15 at the back, lowered around 50mm on non-coilover suspension... :)
  4. scarlett runs a 90mm chin splitter with a 60mm drop and it catches on a lot of stuff but hasn't broken off yet! The mk2 Golf big bumper ones are 70mm iirc, and are a good compromise if you don't want to run the 50mm... :)
  5. If you look closely, the bonnet is actually supposed to be carbon fibre... :) Laura really wants to two-tone it now after seeing it!

  12. These have VW logos in the middle of the centre caps as opposed to the OZ logo, so i'm guessing they're aftermarket, but could just be stick on i suppose...! Tbh, they're in good need of a refurb, most of the bolts are corroded, but was going to spend a couple of months doing it myself (for the experience, and so that my 301s aren't the first set i do!)
  13. Mine came with a Momo Milennium which I'm growing to like, but there's an old Italvolanti one that i'm after, but can't seem to find anywhere! Don't know what model it is either, so I guess that's not a lot of help! :lol:

    OZ Turbos

    I know a couple of peeps have owned these (wales ;)), so thought I'd ask... I've been offered a set of OZ Turbos at a good price, and the guy says they're genuine but I want to make absolutely sure - how can I tell? Also, what's the going rate for a set in semi-shabby condition, genuine or non? And if they're fully refurbed? Cheers guys!

  16. Yup, it's just 4 Torx screws... Make sure you get it lined up correctly with the roof once it's back in the C though!
  17. The mechs are the same, so you may as well just swap the roof panels whilst they're out... :)
  18. The point about worth is that anything is worth what someone is willing to pay... ;) If I could get a brand new VR now, I'd happily pay £10k... :)
  19. Spray pattern is the same as all it does is press down on the original nozzle... Trust me, it makes it sooo much easier to spray though... :) Build does look good though Neil!
