beastieboy - good taste, that man!
-
welcome... :) bad news about your car though... :(
-
Ah, you should get the re-released special edition too with the re-workings and stuff... :) Discovered a new band the other day called Panic! At The Disco - they're from Vegas and do sound a lot like the Killers, but a bit more electro-y! check em out at http://www.purevolume.com/panicatthedisco

I have factory humped leather and it does indeed have a puch for the warning triangle...

Syntha silver - and how useless are VW Caffyns!

If you're getting your car seen to by the Phirm, there's a GSF in Farnham by the way - and they will certainly sort you out with the proper Synta Silver 10/40 semi-synth :) -
How to remove light scratches - which products to use?

http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=36386 a bit of a thread about that sort of thing... :) -
 oops! should have noticed that seeing as t'other 'alf's is the same...!
-
Neil's one is the one-piece grille and eyebrow from either rieger or JOM... they're plastic :)
-
Nope - bear in mind my other half runs 9" wide et15 Borbets on a 60+mm drop with no archwork on the front and it only rubs on full lock! Get em on!
-
Yeah, they'll fit... they'll be about 15mm further out of the arches than standard et35 6.5 wheels, so should look pretty good...
-
bout 35ish for the 4-stud boys and 43ish for the VR lads... Though my 301s are et33 and they look just dandy... :)
-
You won't need spacers either, as 5mm would take you to et25 - should look nice mate!
-
bout £20 iirc... they did go at it three times to be fair, and wouldn't let me leave til it was immaculate!
-
Hmmm, time for some ETKA diagram browsing methinks...
-
and madam...! :) good luck guys...

I had the bay on the rat steam cleaned twice by a valeters and didn't have any electrical issues at all - covered up the alarm and the alternator though... but my bay needed the industrial strength stuff they use!

If it doesn't go after a long hard drive, I'd be inclined to change the heat exchanger (oil cooler) before suspecting the head gasket as it's cheaper... or would a compression test rule out or confirm that it is the hg?
-
I prefer the first UNKLE album myself, but mainly due to the fact that it was Mr Josh Davis twiddling the knobs... ;) I use Shoutcast/Winamp streamed radio to discover new artists, then go and buy the cd - when you can get an album for under £9 from play.com or cd-wow.com, there's no excuse for downloading really... just mho, but i have a lot of friends in the music industry who've been screwed over as an indirect result of illegal mp3 downloading... besides, i much prefer getting whole albums rather than single songs as that's how the artist intended you to hear it, and i like having the artwork and knowing that i'm financially supporting someone whose work i appreciate... :)

I'm gonna resurrect this as I seem to remember Kev mentioning a little while ago about some idea to get the MK4 stub axles onto a C so that you don't have to do the rear wheels bearings every time you change the rear discs... Anyone got any pertinent info about whether it might be possible to fit the MK4 stub axles onto a C?

I was planning to drill holes in those tabs and then cable-tie it to the slam panel somehow
-
Only for legal downloads though, eh lads...? There'll be none of that advising how to illegally download anything here... :) jazzdevil, some good stuff there, have been thinking about dipping a toe in and getting some Imogen Heap/Frou Frou stuff for a couple of weeks now...
-
Hmmm... Isn't there a special tool for fitting the bushes needed though?
-
Yeah, well, finances... Just weighing up the options at the mo - if I get uprated rear bushes, then I want uprated fronts too, but I know that GSF do wishbones with the bushes already in for not a lot more than the bushes alone, and that'll save a lot of money and hassle fitting them... Decisions, decisions!
-
Ach, looks like it'll be OEM ones at that price...!
-
Not heard anything on the venom kits, but personally I'd try and stretch a little further and get some FK AK coilovers...
