    Took stereo out to wire up aerial amp lead and illumination lead... Managed to catch aerial connector and break it... :oops: Think I might just leave the stereo out til I go to Maplins tomorrow and get a new connector... Will tidy wiring up too methinks... :)

    Corrado and MK3 Golf rear axles aren't the same afaik... Dunno bout the rest, but I'm sure someone who does will be along soon! Sounds like a plan though... :) What's up with your G60 lump?

    Tis ok, decided I do just need to take the car on a damn good thrap with some decent juice... :) Kev, yeah, I keep forgetting how recently that was done - it's been a looooong week and my brain hurts... :lol: But cheers for the advice anyways y'all!

    So, got myself a can of 10K Boost today to run it through the engine (have always run a can of it through every car I've owned and they always rev freer and idle smoother afterwards) - except that due to the MAF and various sensors before the TB, as soon as you pop the inlet hose to the TB off to spray the 10K in, the engine splutters and stalls. Anyone know a way round this?

    Attempted to clean the car... Got as far as cleaning the wheels off the car and then ran out of daylight! Damn split rims... :roll::lol:

    Very easy... Remove 4 screws securing the clocks surround and remove, undo two screws at top left and top right of clocks, tilt clocks forward and unplug speedo cable and wiring connector, withdraw clocks from car! You may find it easier to unplug the speedo cable from below, in which case you'll need to remove the under-dash tray and reach up.

    Yep, there are about 256 possible colours IIRC. You go to the illumination setting and just scroll through them with the volume knob. You can match the button colour to the dash illumination almost perfectly 8) Really? Cool - I had a look in the manual online and it seems to think that the smaller buttons (not the main four) can only be green or amber...

    Looks good quality, but I'm not so sure about the tailpipe coming out at an angle - just looks a bit wrong to me!
