But LEDs are a directional light source so you end up with 3 bright patches rather than one glow. Supposedly roughing up the bulb with some fine sandpaper diffuses the light. Has anyone got these installed and are happy with the brightness?

Looks like they ruffled to many feathers this year one way or another. Shamless plagurism: The French firm's future in the sport has been in question since their tyre problems caused 14 cars to pull out of June's United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis after the warm-up lap. Those difficulties prompted stinging criticism from Max Mosley, president of world governing body the FIA, and were felt by many to be one of the key reasons behind a subsequent plan to introduce a single tyre manufacturer in 2008. Michelin had always objected to that idea, unlike Bridgestone, and they have now confirmed their withdrawal, firing a broadside at Mosley and the FIA in the process. Chief executive Edouard Michelin said: "This decision is the result of profound differences between Michelin's long-standing sporting philosophy and the way Formula One is managed by the regulating authorities, which no longer provide a clear and sustainable environment to justify long-term investments. "For Michelin, leaving Formula One in no way represents abandoning motorsports, to which the Michelin brand has been committed for 117 years. "If Formula One's ways of functioning were to be significantly modified, Michelin would not hesitate in proposing its services to the different teams once again."

I am thinking about re-furbing the blower motor as I have just fitted a newer one and have a squeaky one doing nothing. Is it possible to do? Ive heard that gt85 would be a bad idea on electrics as could cause it to fuse but what about a dry lubricant like graphite powder? and if so anyone got an idea where to get some from?

It is most likely to be the amp in the base of the beesting. The foam soaks up water over time and fuses the amp, Looky Here there is a guide to fixing it and it only takes about an hour.

Get one and you will soon forgive any fuel problems and find ways to go out and waste some more. I love my car and dispite being without job at the moment still enjoy every journey.

25 quid sees me to about 130 miles and that is medium journeys 10 or so miles and on and off gunning it.

Gotta say, I would personaly prefer a 4 wheel drift out of a roundabout than spinning round to face the people i had just overtaken.

Unfortunatly it is unlikely with what I have earned this year, but it would be nice to think so.

Ive been offered a Golf vr6 Highline for what I think is a fairly good price. It has all working bits and the mulberry paintjob and only 86k on a P plate, Im not going to sell mine so was looking to make a bit of dollar on the side. and I wont be posting on here caus that would be rude, But, what do you reckon it is worth?

a friend of mine did something similar when he missed a turning and stamped on the brakes only to have a car up his exhaust and into the back seat. it was deemed 100% his fault dispite the car following to closely. Hope you have similar luck, and hope it stays on the road.

well with all the pedestrian and driver safety they have to include adds weight to slow them horses down considerably. But have to say there is not much in it between my mates new Mk5 GTI and mine :D Having said that I did get spanked round a roundabout tonight by a Punto, I just couldnt get the power down till the straight.
