  1. Can't find them, maybe they went bust. Another good one is paints4u. http://www.paints4u.com/ Have used both before.
  2. Zakparts is where i get mine. Will find a link.
  3. Was a couple of threads on here where people have fitted a cheap outer cv joint and the end has sheared off. Might be worth a search. I know they aren't cheap from VW though.

    3 bar grill

I can see what you mean now. I was on about the wrong bit.
  5. Am not totally sure what bit you mean.

    3 bar grill

I think they are manufacturing bits, shouldn't effect the operation of the grill.
  7. The bushes on the center of roll bar are a tight fit.
  8. This is the guy i used, i couldn't recommend him enough. http://www.advancewindscreens.com/page/471C91A5Location Although not sure if he will be too keen doing another corrado after mine
  9. Renewed mine about a year ago, its the part of the left, i've not looked too hard but might be able to see the part number if you need it stil
  10. ^ Some pics of mine i took when i had it off.
  11. i don't i'm afraid, it was nearly 10yrs back now. Was a nova he had been working on and was taking it for an MOT iirc
  12. Some guy on the corsa forum took his airbox off and fitted one of his sports socks in its place. It got sucked into the throttle body.
  13. I'm not sure yet. Having lots of thoughts about what to do with the car. Does feel slower now I've taken it off. But also got some engine issues. Which is why I took it off. Just to eliminate it and the maf. Will probably keep it for now in case I feel like being noisy.
  14. I uninstalled it about 6 months ago. Was fed up with it messing about. Not just this forum I might add. Don't miss it and just use the browser as normal. Never have a problem now.
  15. Nice one. What about removing the gear selector tower thing? Can I take that off. Will leave it on when washing. But want to remove it. Does it just bolt back on? Or do I need to set something up etc.
  16. Is it ok to use pressure washer on a gearbox. Is off the car and needs a clean.
  17. Just taken mine off and put the standard airbox on with a K&N panel filter and its like a different car, so quiet.
  18. I tried a 3m pad and it was shafted after one use. I sticck to merzerna stuff that I already had. I do like the dodo juice stuff. Slowly using up stuff and buying the dodo equivalent.
  19. I refused to use the people my insurance company told me to use. I knew of a local guy and paid him to do it, (insurance said they would only pay £100) he had quoted £420. I used him anyway, he did a fantastic job, treated some minor rust for me and took him nearly 6hrs. Anyway, he tried his luck sending invoice off to my insurance and they just paid it, only cost me £40 in the end. The push in seals are a right pain to fit. I watched him struggle to fit the new one, then after about 1hr of trying to push it in without it popping back out, i asked him to reuse the old seal, which fitted lovely. Am sure you'll get it sorted.
  20. Been through the basic settings thing, (now i have vagcom) Idle was 800rpm, temp was good. But the timing BTDC, in the guide it says should be between 6-8, mine was 0.3 to 3 and jumping about between those figures a lot. Going to give it a service including fuel filter next, also going to check inlet manifold bolts and throttle body for any leaks etc. Could it be related to the timing chains?
  21. Am beginning to think that as well. Not great to drive.
  22. Some form of Merc 500sl? Or is that too conservative for you? TBh i'd go for the BMW Z3 or Z4 Coupe
  23. Oh right. Mine didn't come off so I thought it was welded.
  24. Will only fit on one way. One bolt hole is offset. I just bolted mine on then used the notch on the pulley at opposite end.
  25. Plusgas always helps me as well.
