i used the VW kits on my front 288mm breaks and they work fine and have done for quite some time now. i'm not sure they came with new bleed nipples though

you can use white spirits on paintwork, but i would wash it well afterwards and then polish and wax it clay bar isn't hard to do and i would say very hard to badly damage the paint with

you can get to them all with a long extension bar at the correct angle -
Mine is a 1995 and came with a sony headunit as standard, but i changed it for something modern, i don't think putting an old stereo back in is going to add any sort of value to the car, be it money or enjoyment

corrado coming along, just test fitting a few bit really, still got bits to repaint and smooth out

i think its just a photoshop of the red one, if you look at the rear lights and roof moulding you can see they have more yellow than it should :)

vr6, washed bonnet now car is un driveable :(

i've noticed a bit of foam missing from my bonnet and the water runs down the side of wing and pours onto battery -
took me ages, but i reckon i have sussed out the car. very tough

1st time on mine the metal brass coloured trumpet bit came loose and fell off the end of cable, this time the clip that hold the outer sheath of the cable to the bonnet release handle has snapped. managed to get bonnet open yesterday without breaking anything, but struggling to fit new cable outer sheath. i have such a list of bits to do, i'm considering taking my dashboard out so i can sort out the mess know as the fusebox :(

Radiator connector piece not available from dealers

is that the rad elbow. usually comes with the rad from VW, i don't know if you can buy it on its own or not. gruvenparts do an alloy replacement, buts its quite expensive, really good quality though -

deleting loads of my apps, including this one, they all seem to annoy me, work one day, not the other, i hate technology sometimes. app market and smart phones seem like a crock of ****e to me, great for the 1st few weeks i had it, now i'm just carrying around a phone twice the size of phones from 5yrs ago ??

mine has always been pretty naff, when i bought the car the owner did say it needed regassing, but i hardly use aircon anyway. think i'm decided now that i am going to remove it all when doing steering rack
