  1. Will scan mine again, as i had the same fault and replaced the ISV and it went away.
  2. Here you go: http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/product.php/619/superseal-weatherproof-connectors
  3. I'm not sure. I think i just linked to where i bought my fans from. I can confirm it all works as it should. Done about 2500miles since fitting them. They push a lot of air, might try and measure the speed as i was impressed when i put my hand behind them.
  4. I think it was fob a website called vehicle wiring products.
  5. Banned any type of drink that isn't in a bottle from my corrado. Pretty much only me in it. But i have to turn down the free coffee when i buy a bacon roll.
  6. You can blank it off and it should run. I run mine for a while without it. Just need to connect the pipes up.
  7. I got mine from vw not too long ago. Was something like £22. Have heard of it happening before. I think they just get old and brittle.
  8. oo nice, i might get one as my wiring is old and still got the funny dash reading from the yellow coolant temp sensor, i can only assume its the wiring at fault or the actual dash gauge.
  9. I'm not too convinced with the ecu reset procedure, i just disconnect battery, leave it a while and then drive about for an 1hr
  10. Congratulations on achieving one more lap of the sun
  11. If for any reason VEEDUBBED doesn't take it i will have it.
  12. Recovered mine successfully. Was one of the things i was really pleased with. Never attempted any sort of work with material before. Will try and link the pics and description when I'm at my pc next.
  13. Samco sell a kit for the oil cooler hoses as well, worth getting imo. Not sure if there is a roose or equivalent kit for those
  14. Yeah. I have never successfully removed one. They just snap.
  15. Wonder how many have liked it
  16. I use photobucket website, really easy to use and is free. Can get an app on your phone for it.
  17. Veedubbed, thanks for the offer etc, but i know what the standard pump is like. More worried about the pump i've bought being wrong. Got some pics of it VROWNER85: interesting to know, mine has green fluid and has always been green. Going to look into the pump i have, i had a quick google and it was showing up as a golf pump.
  18. I notice the name selling a "david smith" Wasn't it a chap called Mark David Smith on here that screwed someone over with a shrick?
  19. I can't picture the pcv hose? I deleted my PCV for an oil catch can and don't recall having to change any coolant hose.
  20. At VW its nearly £400 with the vat, although he said can do it for £250 if i bring old one in. The one i just bought was £215, but then got 20% off and £96 surcharge so ended up being an ok price.
  21. I have a couple of originals, the new ones says KYB on it, but then has a TRW label on it to say its remanufacturered. I shall get a photo of it before i fit it. EDIT: This is how the original looks https://iapunitedkingdom.com/catalog/product/view/id/165128
  22. Are there different versions for the VR6, its just the part i got looks quite different to the original, all the mounting points and pipe connections look in the correct place, not sure on the pulley alignment. Just been to VW and he mentioned the VR6 pump produces more pressure.
  23. If you open the tailgate, you can remove the plastic trim at the back edge of the roof lining (a bit awkward as you sometimes need to loosen the trim going up the C-pillars. Then you should be able to pull the roof lining down a little and get to it from underneath
  24. tbh 10% isn't enough to tempt me to buy them, I don't need them right now.
  25. I think anything other than black just gives it that "LOOK AT MY HOSES" theme.
