    Roose pipes

Pics i found on interweb, in 2nd one can just see the slightly curved hose, not the bit that had been highlighted

I thought the z shape one went from the cam cover to inlet elbow and basically did away with the plastic disc shaped valve. And the slightly curved one went the other side of the inlet elbow to the isv. Will make most sense if i looked at car

    Roose pipes

I think they go on the pcv and isv, i had them hoses in the samco kit and have never used them
  8. I ended up putting the old stuff back in, i think the bush is the washer, one each end
  9. I know the bit you mean and i couldn't source it anywhere when i did mine
  10. Car parts with free Haribo, that's the only thing i've found so far.
  11. Built it when he was 20yrs old. Or thats when he started the first one.
  12. Found this bit on the wiki, i think link will work, not sure if it helps explain anything. I've never had one not fit over the years. Maybe ECP have a new batch of the wrong ones. Must mean the caps or housing differs on some. http://wiki.the-corrado.net/image_vr6_filters.html
  13. I found it hard enough with the subframe off the car..
  14. Weird, am sure it fitted mine, i may double check it as the engine did just die from an oil problem.
  15. Just checked my previous orders and this is the one i use. http://www.eurocarparts.com/search/501440159 Car is a 1995 VR6
  16. This is something my car has never had, not sure if they were removed when air con was installed or if a previous owner /garage took them off. I bought two sets recently but they are pretty rough and cut up, i have been thinking I'll use them as templates and design something in cad that could be laser cut and bent. But not got round to that yet.
  17. Welcome. Nice choice of car. Don't leave the headlight switch, when mine went it burnt the wiring loom, is quite common for people to add an inline fuse to it.
  18. Glad i didn't post on facebook now  As long as she has always been a beetle fan and its not because its the car she owns at the moment, then i'm ok with it :) I hate people with shallow car morals
  19. Why is a silly woman bringing up her VW Beetle on the facebook post, always get this on posts about corrados, some people "oh i haven't got a corrado but here is a photo of my Bora or Passat" Corrado owners don't care, i certainly don't.
  20. Got mine from here http://www.as-trim.co.uk/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5&zenid=98v5u9unad7i67rd3s4f7qlce7 but went for black
  21. This one looks even more like it and its cheaper. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brake-Throttle-Clutch-Cable-Inner-Wire-With-Z-Fitting-On-End-2-5-Metres-Long/401108017969?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D35391%26meid%3D284f262f2c4f44459b2ad7ebf339680b%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D261598733487
  22. Black or very dark N reg in newport essex this morning about 9:30am, Guessing it was a 16v as it had the BBS multispoke style of wheels. Not one i've seen around here before.
  23. They only make sensible reliable cars, so i reckon they pretend the corrado never happened.
  24. I'd check the timing covers as well, the sump bolts up to one side, i wonder if that might of moved a bit, must of been a hell of a whack.
  25. The existing ones or the new stuff? The existing crimps i had to very carefully cut through the metal with the dremel and then prise it open, just leaves you with the hard lines (which have a little raised lip on them) The new hose pushes on (quite a tight fit with the PTFE as its a solid pipe inside, you slide the new clamps on first and then squeeze it with special pliers. I use these ones (also handy for cv boots etc) http://www.pvrdirect.co.uk/sealey-vs1633-cvj-boot-hose-clip-pliers-ear-type/?CAGPSPN=pla&CAAGID=25337172250&CATCI=pla-54458723577&catargetid=120134430000000121&cadevice=c&gclid=Cj0KEQjw09C5BRDy972s6q2y4egBEiQA5_guvzsX1kgrDoJOnP_SBEaOPgzOIrCudXQ59vQ8v7WaUUMaAlE-8P8HAQ
