I might be up for buying a complete set, i have a mix of samco and roose at the moment, would prefer them all roose. I'd want them in black, anything else is just too max power for me.

I was thinking of suggesting the RR Corrado as the name for that boat, Boaty McBoatface

Hello, Welcome, get some photos up.
-
A 2nd car has been the most beneficial to me. Before that, Any work had to be done in a weekend, so couldn't really take on the big stuff. Prices for some parts are bad compared to common poverty type cars from the same era, but compared to some prices i hear for something like a modern day equivalent of a corrado, it makes the corrado seem cheap and affordable performance really.

Fitted a new FPR, and got a new PAS to fit some time (probably over easter)
-
Found it now, ignore me, the photo was brake master not clutch
-
Am after the footrest on the clutch side in black. Mine seems to have exploded.
-
Not long again, someone on here put up a picture of the clutch master with some seals they had bought. I'm trying to find the photo. Found a bag of rubber bits that went with the clutch master and got a feeling i missed putting them when putting car back together. Noticed a drip on my footrest which i think came from clutch master.

Great stuff, really happy with the Teves20 system. Them rear bias valves are a pain in the arse.
-
Yeah, i've had three of my samcos split. They split internally which seemed to make them weep at the ends. Looked like a manufacturing fault to me, i contacted Samco about it but they couldn't give a **** really. Really happy with the Roose ones.

Damn, I ordered a PAS pump yesterday, was £215, i got 20% off that though
-
Did you get anywhere with this? Considering buying the Bosch pump from Eurocarparts as its easter sale, so about £120. Have not removed mine to look, but thinking if i order the bosch and it doesn't fit i can always get a refund
-
Yeah the whole system was drained. I've had the car apart over the last two years and put it all back together, nearly everything is new apart from a handful of parts.

Well if you imagine steering wheel as a clock face, it seems really easy to turn the wheel about 5minutes, but say you were turning it 10-15 minutes it really stiffens up. Corners well on a tight bend, but a slight bend in the road and it feels very unsettling as you are only turning a little bit and the steering will be too light and then stiffen up. Not sure if thats makes sense, basically the steering feel isn't consistent. I used to have a clunking if i was sat stationary and quickly shook the steering wheel side to side, thats seems to have disappeared when i fitted the fixed column. I still think i'll change the rack (if i can get one) as its one of about 5 parts that are original on the car  Literally changed everything else.

Parked mine up again, back in the Audi, managed 2000miles before something broke so not bad at all.
-
Nice, i'd like something like that, What wheels do you have?
-
I would buy one of those racks, where would i go to order that? Just ordered a pump from GSF, £215 for a TRW one, although you get 20% off with click and collect and then £96 back when you return old pump (i have a spare knackered pump so will give them that)

I've put loads of chips on mine while doing the rebuild. Took the front wings off and propped them up carefully. Got there the next day and both were face down on the floor and had hit the bumper on the way down. Put one outside quickly and the wind blew it onto the tarmac. You just have to laugh about it. It's all fixable.
-
Might hold fire on the rack. This evening the pas pump. At least i hope it's the pump. Making a clattering noise. Won't be driving it again now. Only had a very quick look under bonnet as its dark and seemed to be from the pump area. Can't think it's the engine.

Thinking about trying some wheel spacers, only as i just fitted some for a mate to his smart roadster and they made quite a difference, both in looks and handling. Anyone put them on a standard wheel? Any idea on width? was thinking 15mm, can't see any reason why that would cause an issue.
-
I wonder if its possible to custom fit a rack and pump from something else, like a more modern golf or audi for example. Classic parts do list a new VW rack for the corrado but its £1000, and am sure its only that price as there is only one or two left.
-
I need to check, i know i wrote it down, its a 1995 VR, from memory it was 50 something
-
Yeah, i reckon its 7 192 422 061K 22 50ZNK044188>> TRW RHD That i need.
-
Excellent, very helpful, thanks. I would guess that mine is 22 splines, not counted but from memory. Who did you order it from? (or do you do it through your job?)
-
This is listed on GSF, says various VW and seat, makes me wonder if a rack from something else might fit the rado? http://www.gsfcarparts.com/430vg0140 I thought mine was a TRW type rack, i did try to look on classic parts and what i found was in german and it had a price of over 1000euros.
