  1. Didn't take long to find Also, nice to see Data from the Goonies out and about. "Pinchers of power guyss, pinchers of power"
  2. Am sure there is a video of it or something similar 'driving' sounds as daft as it looks
  3. hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! HA! Love the internet.
  4. Do you have an oval shaped after market grill? Only ask as i see one around Thaxted occasionally, but see it about for the last 15yrs or so.
  5. Same here, thats what i use
  6. It would idle high when warm and wouldn't hold an idle when cold for a few seconds unless i had foot on gas a little, and the car seemed to run rich. I've not had it on the car for very long though, about 750miles.
  7. I replaced my ISV with one of these. Cheap but works fine and cured my idle problems http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151518276348

    Spal Fans

This is spal 11 and 9 inch fans on standard vr6 rad. As mentioned you need the custom brackets. Wired mine in with just one speed. So both come on at 1st stage at full power. Am sure you can fit just one fan and that will be enough.
  9. Not sure if its the same on the original corrado ABS, but when i swapped to the newer system i had to bled the pump using vagcom
  10. Is something in that left hand top corner that seems to make the noise, that's where i had most noise.
  11. Not very interesting really  But you can notice a slight noise similar to the tapping. It was a lot louder before all the work, but its a totally new engine so must be normal.
  12. I took a video of it running from cold the other day. With all the posts of tappy sounds etc i thought i'd record mine to show they do make some noises and aren't perfectly quiet and purring like a modern car, its still a 20yr+ old engine design. Will upload it soon.
  13. Nothing new to report, have covered about 750miles now. Not really going to get much more on it until next year now. I just seem to go out and clean the engine bay these days
  14. Worth checking the temp the ecu is getting from the blue sender, you need to hook car up to vagcom/VCDS to do it though. Noticed my dash gauge reads low, changed everything and still the same, checked in vagcom and its just inaccurate, I don't know if it was always like that or not, but notice quite a few people with the same thing.
  15. Yeah, to remove them i either get a small screwdriver in the ear and try to prise it apart, or just cut them. Pm me your address and i'll post you some, maybe just send a few quid to cover postage
  16. They are ear clamps. I have a load of you need some. Bought a big bag to do my fuel lines.
  17. Mine was having an idle issue and a similar fault code, didn't throw up the lambda one though. Thought i'd ruled out the isv by cleaning it and then swapping it for a used one. Ending up fitting one of these ISV's and it sorted the issue straight away, plus a lot cheaper than most ISV's http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151518276348 am not saying thats your problem, but its a cheap way to rule the ISV out.
  18. Yeah they both fit. Think that type are the factory fitted ones.
  19. What about the temp sensor on rad.
  20. Corrado in the pics looks tidy!
  21. I bought one at £60 a year or two ago, best charger i've had. Tests the battery before charging it and can also be used as a trickle charger
