  1. I bought some of those and they do make it much easier as they lock in place so you can position the clamp properly.
  2. Cheers..Think i've sorted them, ordered every size so must be the correct one there somewhere
  3. Luckily i just happened to notice a wire hanging out of my G1 plug on fusebox, its a thick black one. I think it goes in terminal no4. But looking at the CE2 fusebox guide thing, i can't make sense of it, my plugs seem to be handed and the numbers don't match up with the existing wiring (don't know if anyone has noticed that before) Anyway, think i know where to put the wire, the whole terminal pin has come out and i then snapped a tiny bit of metal off so now it won't stay in the hole. Got pretty annoyed with it last night so gave up. I've seen the pins for sale before but can't find them now, anyone know where to get them and also what size i need for this thickish black wire? thanks
  4. I did get a little excited the first time I went. Once of them is their own car. Not sure if it was vinces dad. But was an older chap in the office with a nice TT RS.
  5. Sills not required now, managed to get them new from VW heritage thanks to a helpful couple of forum members :) I just need the bits on the rear.
  6. Damn pigeons!!, coming over here and taking our huts
  7. :( Was a lovely corrado. Am sure you will be back. Can't keep things forever, you had to set it free  I do get it quite a lot when someone comes to talk to me about the corrado, they always seem to bring up a car they had that they regret selling, but they all seem to be more worried about "it would've been worth a fortune now"

    :-)

Welcome, I'm currently in a derv and really missing my VR :( Almost forgotten what its like to have decent gearing and a rev range
  9. Just looked up the bit i need for the rear bumper mount area and its only comes as the whole rear quarter panel, from b pillar all the way back including the whole arch  Don't think i'll order that. Might get that other bit though,(both sides)
  10. No  i meant the original poster needed the same part as me, but only the top half, and i only need the bottom bit.
  11. Yes, thats a good idea, i only need the very bottom bit. I would be happy to try and order the bits
  12. Took these while screen was out of mine, it had about 220,000miles on the car, used throughout the year
  13. Pretty hard to find, although they used to be on ebay for £25 a few years back, that was for a used example (i think that guy from TCS used to buy corrados and sell the badges off them, never seen a corrado for sale through him with a grill badge on it), seen some go for around £100 lately.
  14. Lol am so excited i think i missed the part numbers earlier on, thanks. Will get on it again after lunch.
  15. I want both sides and a bit to the rear of car. Am not having much success finding the bits i need and the parts numbers on that side, is there an easy way to do it? This thread shows what i need http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=89704
  16. How do i order, its all in german? Is it best to contact Anna through the forum?
  17. Wow, excellent link, i am going to buy that.
  18. Cars rust in different places, all around my windscreen was fine (had one little scab of rust at the top in the middle) Rest was perfect.
  19. Check the wiring for it. On both the engines i've had the wire had totally corroded away.
  20. Got mine out and they look as if someone has hacked them out in the past. Should 6x4 speakers fit straight in? Good condition wanted. Have got grilles for them so not important.
  21. I have my old valeo one I took out. Was nothing wrong with it and looks quite clean still. I only changed it because I didn't want to take dash off again. The previous owner had changed it shortly before I bought thE car. So 8yrs old at least. Not sure if it's any use to someone?
  22. I've used VW and non-genuine ones and don't notice any difference, apart from price. I'd get them from eurocarparts (if they have them)
  23. It is quite a task to be fair. I've just done mine but only because I had dash off for some wiring. Quite a lot of bit to remove first and plenty of unscrewing things and remembering where bits go. In a way I thought it was comparable to removing the engine. Just not as heavy
  24. I do find myself going there less and less these days.
