ok i dont have the 998 but heres what i got... I have instructions for 996V2/996V3/919/917/776/719 As follows:- Note when programming a new fob ALL existing fobs/touch keys must be programmed in also. The system will accept a maximum of 4 fobs and two touch keys. Procedure: 1. Ensure that the alarm system is fully disabled using and existing fob/touch key. 2. Locate the alarm control box. 3. Turn on the vehicle ignition 4. Set Dip switch 3 to the ON position. If the LED is ON go to step 6 5. Press and release the arm/disarm button on a valid remote or insert a valid touch key. The LED will light continuously. 6. Press and release the arm/disarm button on the new fob (or insert and remove the touch key). This will be acknowledged by the led going off then on again. 7. Repeat step 6 with ALL fobs/keys to be programmed onto the system. 8. Set dip switch 3 back to off position and turn off ignition. 9. Test all new fobs/keys. HTH

advice on fitting rear engine mount (16v)
sciroccotune replied to sciroccotune's topic in Engine Bay
well its done, not to much to it really. as Niges16V said a long extension bar is handy, as is a u joint if you dont want to remove the whole inlet mani. i just removed the intake pipes.. I think that i need to do the gear box mount also at some point but the new front and rear seem to be doing the trick. anyone need any advice on this im happy to advise :-) -
Jim's Corrado - ciao to the Fiat! Hello to.. (P64)
sciroccotune replied to Jim's topic in Members Gallery
TBH Jim i really like my suspension being std, but i doesn’t look as good. However if i had to choose i would have comfort. like i have just gone back to a standard exhaust - sooo much better (i must just be getting old!!) I have always said that this car looks stonking ! -

sciroccotune replied to sciroccotune's topic in Engine Bay

corrado vr6 vs astra gte 16v vs calibra turbo
sciroccotune replied to spike16vgte's topic in General Car Chat
tbh i dont think i have seen a calibra that was rust free in a long time, most have badly rotted rear wings thesedays! you will find that most corrados are rust free, at least mostly -
bad news mate, no doubt :-( But there is alwas someone on here to help cheere you up! get that engine conversion going and get to e38 or such like :-D
-
sounds like a top bloke!!! good on ya...i think i would go all clear, should be looking fantastic mate, you going to e38? should be a show stopper!
-
hello mate, nice stash! how much were the head lights? shiny!
-
ignition switch? sounds like something loose or at least electrical - maybe?
-
you wanna be checking all your earths i would think, does it happen with the turn signals or anything else?
-
that not the external temp sensor is it? does anything not work?
-
one of the ones on top of the strut tower. as in its a black thing that looks like a fuse holder near a front top mount, which ever side you like will make the abs light come on as its like a sensor problem to the ABS ECU so it turns the ABS off
-
you could rule out the abs by dis'ing one of the sensors in the engine bay. the light will then stay on and the abs will then be OFF. if it still judders then its likely to be discs/pads as the guys have said.
-
eek! sorry - good ideas all round :-D :thumbleft:
-
good job that!
-
that’s the thing mate! However when i was done by a copper for a 'parking' offence it didn’t seem much better  Does you C have cruise control zip?
-
you recon it would be possible to install corrado ABS on a scirocco? IM not planning this that soon but it could be a future plan..:)
-
as mr BC says it worth checking the in tank pump. Once had a scirocco just stop. replaced lines, filters and all sorts - still nothing. took the little gauze filter off the in tank pump and ran it under the tap, back on and she started first time !!
-
unluckly mate...my 3 should be coming off next feb, woo! doesnt do much to the old insurance as dinkus says...but it the most annoying thing in the world some how.
-
i would go for a set of indies, think they would look good with normal fogs :-)
