  2. as I have had mine for over a year now i would say the following sums up a 2l 16v not cheap to run but not overly pricey for its class not overly fast but fast enough and good on the boil you will eventually want something faster so either engine work or a Vr
  3. Now i don’t know much about boost but surely you should have been using the steering wheel and other car controls instead of holding/ looking at a boost gauge!  But seriously what are we seeking there, boost change with gear shift or slipping belt at high revs? edit: should say that it looks strong tho

  10. bit on the nasty side if you use the rear washer at 60+mph....may be better with a switch.
  11. if yo are still using the relayed feed from the wiper then it will do that, i guess you could fit a different relay or maybe just wire up an open/close switch to the stalk (if i understand what you are doing correctly)
  12. Hey guys my dad is after having a set of 16's refurbed for his merc. They were dimond cut but are looking a bit shabby now. Dont think he wants the dimond cut again, juts blasted and painted a colour tba. Where can he get this done in the north east? anyone had any experiance of this etc? cheers guys :D
  13. also you should tray and keep the original track, its wider at the front stock so you should space like that IMO. Keep us informest as im thinking of something like this to! :-)
  14. I think roo is right then, the sensor should be located on the front left had side of the rocker cover. its bolted down using the same bolt that secures the cover. :-)
  15. mk1 bolt is stronger and the crank bolt is a strech bolt on teh corrado so can only be used once. that sounding good mate, shouldnt take you to long :-)
  16. i would think a smidge of filler and an impact hammer should see that back to good mate. or at worst i new bit of metal welded in? what have the body shop said? nice colour that! what is it? :-)
  17. yeah i know fella, no worries! As for the leak its likely just small or you would be topping up the oil all the time, get it washed and see how long it takes to re appear, eek hope you get it sorted for your driveways sake

  20. thay are nice, should suit well!
  21. rocker cover gasket? just replace it for the £5 it costs, mine was leaking at the back. could even be the head gasket weeping have small pools of oil collected on the inlet mani?
