CCGB Membership Fee Discussion Now Here: http://www.corradoclub.org/
Wendy replied to vornwend's topic in Off-topic Chat
I think everyone who comments should turn up to the AGM and see where the costs are spent. Also what other clubs are only charging £10.00, none to my knowledge. With the Sprinter costs alone, the Club would be no more within 2 - 3 years of my understanding. Why leave something until the Club is practically running on empty to address this, poor business sense in my view. Costs need to go up now, I would have put them up to £20.00 per annum, not £15.00. No - one seemed to mind so much when the costs went down......................... -
Agree, great film, knew I shouldn't have watched it though, just brought back the love. I too think a Corrado is a kind of poor mans Porker

Any of you guy bought property - or rented property in Spain?
Wendy replied to Mawrick's topic in Off-topic Chat
I know people who have lost everything in Spain due to buying, so again would advise rent only. You should get some good deals as some people have their empty houses there which they are paying high mortgages on and living back here in the UK, and any rental income they would be grateful to receive. I would check out the general cost of living in Spain before making that your final choice though. Personally I would only go for something where the property is let (rented) by professional agents and everything legal. Too much has gone wrong in more recent years in Spain Good Luck -
Well of course - as I started driving at 5 years old. I like how brave you are behind a Forum Thread ?? !!!
-
That sounds brilliant, for 25 years and Milton Keynes. Who are you insured with and are your mods declared ?
-
I noted that too!! Good article
-
So Mr Munyard - how the devil are you and, what car are you now driving ? Please do not let it be some boring piece of S...... T !!! Can't believe you have only just got round to breaking your car, thought that was to be done ages ago !!! Good luck with selling it all.

OMG - this thread is dragging them out of the wood work. Hi Neil ! Guy was also on form that night along with Bill Aitken and Alex Pose Gil again !!!

From my understanding yes, as Coullstar says though his 225's were fine. I would personally check with tyre companies too, I found the Internet people who were selling many winter tyres to be best rather than your local tyre company.
-
Being me, I did masses of homweork on this !!!!! ........................... For best winter use, you need a smaller tread on the road, so narrower - sure you know this, then slightly higher profile is preferable too. After speaking with various people, and being advised by one company if I did not go with recommended sizes by the manufacturer - I should check my insurance as many were refusing claims due to this, so............. I did the bright thing - and checked my Instruction manual - and this is the recommendation !!! Going down in size is also what Jim was recommended on his Octavia

It is exactly why I have finally done it, so easy to be snowed in or out !!!!
-
Just put Winter tyres on mine this morning !! How adapt was that, slight snow covering here today. Normal 15" Speedline Alloys, Winter Tyres 185/55/15 Nankang Tyres, £72 per corner. Could have bought significantly more expensive, but my budget would not allow and assure these were good and will last 3 winters My Summer tyres 205/50/15, Michelin Exalto's approx £110 a corner Will let you know what I think in a week or two.

Glenn- if you are talking of Glenn Cooper, he sold his Nothelle Corrado to John Munyard which now longer exists, or rather is broken.

Monthly Evening Corrado Meet - Oxfordshire. Tues 27th Nov
Wendy replied to Wendy's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Actually I am going to be doing different venue's for every meet, I am one for liking trying new places. As it happens the Car Park was plenty large enough, with plenty of room too. Shall we say the pub was just lacking personality, massively changed from my last visit. -

Sorry Meth, maybe will do a Saturday after Christmas, too busy with masses of other stuff right now. Anyone else coming along on Tuesday ? Please put your name down, as all those attending so far (Me, dude VR and Jim) have a 40 mile plus round trip - me included and if no-one else is coming along, we will meet closer to our homes in Banbury/Kenilworth. Deadline for names will be Sunday midnight. -
