I too had not been watching it especially, maybe the odd half hour every other day, but its infectious; I think down to the presenters and the support of the crowds, let alone the effort of the participants. I watched some 3 hours yesterday evening, what a great day to have chosen in view of our winners yesterday. Fantastic achievement. I too am hoping it puts some pride back into this nation.

Glad to hear you are doing the work on the car. I was going to say, I have certainly spent more than £1500 on car repairs before in a year and if its been sat for 4 years then i think this quite reasonable.

What an opportunity, wow !!! This is on my list of places to go........... I hear it is a brilliant event. Will probably organise a Corrado Trip in some point and then spend all my time convincing everyone, yes their cars will and can make it !!!! :-) Next year hoping on a 25th Anniversary to be held in Germany..............still waiting !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you have got to talk to your neighbours and try to resolve it, you say they seem a nice family. The parents may not know what is going on, explain how you are feeling and what is happening. Lets be serious it can't get much worse and I think it is worth trying before giving up.

I think becoming more friendly with the kids may help, as then they will not and to offend you or your possessions. Kids do actually look up to adults - usually. Perhaps try to find out what they really like and would not want damaged and go on to explain about your car in the same way. Will have more of a think.............

Guys - Go steady on this chap - Crispy Squirrel - I know many of you mean well and really do not want to see another Corrado broken for parts and put up a good reason for not doing so. But, some of these posts have come across a bit harsh, some people would really struggle to find £300 and although I do not know if this is the case here, remember too - many of you probably bought cars too that you could ill afford to run at some point, but had to have the ownership, the love and desire too much. Hopefully Crispy Squirrel has read these posts as true lovers of our cars, hence the hard push to encourage him to fix it rather than break it. Hopefully he also had good news today and the situation not as bad as he originally was led to believe.
