Good day out, I enjoyed it - loads, even if there are now going to photo's around of me cleaning Crazy Dave's Car. How embarrassing !!! Nice to meet some new folk and catch up with old friends and have so many attend a National Day - especially after the last few years. For those who were not aware, the parking on the Banking cost the Club £10 per car, so a Big Thank you to the Committee folk for agreeing to this when that is everyone's annual membership gone for this year. Look forward to catching up with various folk at the other shows in the year.

Gave her a proper blast from home to Stealth following a Seat Leon Cupra. It was really funny, as originally he had been following me, my car was not up to temperature, so i was doing 50 - 55mph. Just as he overtook me, mine got to temperature, oh what a blast, serioulsy good. Got acknowledged as I turned off as well. I love that road and especially that I live just off it. And tomorrow off to BJV for wheels to be refurbished, which annoyingly are only really going in to be refurbished on the inner as I keep losing air from my tyres. Hardly any marks on the outer - not bad for a girl heh !!!! So looking forward to Brooklands in a couple of weeks, need to get out on the road more !!!

I am with Scarlet on all counts, but think I would have the Cayman, having really looked at the above, the interiors are sooooooooooo bad - my opinion ! I am stuned that I am a petrol head and yet still own the same car after 10 years, guess it shows just how badly I wanted the Corrado in the first place that I am unable to part with it. Convincing myself that anything else will provide the same joy on all counts for the cost of the Corrado - is just not there.

I am looking to buy a camera in the next few weeks and wondered if anyone can assist. Does anyone know of a good Camera Shop, max 1 hours travel from Banbury - so Coventry, Leicester, Birmingham, Oxford areas ish. I am after a shop where there is normally good varied stock and knowledgeable staff. I don't mind large nationals or independants. Camera requirements - Compact Digitial - to fit in my pocket - or very close to doing so. I like travel and to some out of the way places, so need to be very discreet and not appear to touristy by carrying larger digitial SLR's. Camera Spec - Brilliant zoom facility for distant landscapes is my greatest criteria. Good make of manufacture. Ease of use. Cost is not such an issue - the criteria is far more essential. I have been saving up and want something that is durable, reliable and will last. Thanks in advance for any assistamce in the right direction

I have been loads of times too, without Grandstand also. Good viewing spot is past all the grandstands and half way up the hill. There is also a TV moniter you can view from there. Often the F1 cars will do antics here too. AS said before get there early like when the doors open, huge queues to get in if not. If you are only going for the day, be prepared to not get round it all. You can print off all the Timings and events, stands available from the website saving the programme costs too. Enjoy, its brilliant.
