  2. The bearing noise does sound like a dry stater,once you release the key from start position the starter will slow down and a grone...ish noise will be noticable. As for the stalling problems,i would check for an airleak,look for split or cracked ISV damper pot near your throttle body,this leed direct into the idle valve.
  3. What oil leak did they fix? what was removed to fix it? Was it running fine prior to the garage fixing it?
  4. this is really good to know,a standalone cam advance would be ace if say i wanted to change my 12v for a 24v and keep all the obd2 stuff. Nice work :salute:
  5. ouch!! :eek: Glad your ok and looking at your car that should be not to hard to fix,wing door and reapair the rear quater and your back on the road! :tongue:
  6. Got a bit still to do mate,then then the hole car needs blocking and wet sanding before paint....plenty to do not enough.. :sleeping: but early next year should be done. Got a bit more done after work today,welded up rear wiper,side repeter holes and washer jet holes. Also bined my rover metro bonnet vents for some custom scoops,still not finished yet but they are taking shape! :tongue:
  7. after replacing my matrix on my old corrado with a cheap one it burst burning my foot and had to do the job all over again using VW parts and at the time it was around 105 quid.....never will i use cheap parts again! Still great write up ! :cheers:
  8. cheers folks :wink: decided on the centre of the wheel colour is going to be the same as the car....red,going to do one wheel to see how it works. Also spent some time polishing one of the rims and 36 bolts....still more to polish but getting there 8)

Got around 1" ish now all round mate,so with some hard graft its possible !! :tongue: Cheers Bud :wink: Done some more work,havent had much time,welded up the rear badge holes,finished the drivers rear arch,had a lot of work to cut and re-weld the inner tub to quater pannel,but its done now,just needs to be seam sealed and stonechiped,filled,smoothed and painted....not much then :cuckoo: :lol: Randoms...

  12. The small 14mm headed one is oil temp and the larger is oil pressure mate
  13. hmmm...looks odd and very similar to the chrysler crossfire with 350z headlights !
  14. its not hard job,just akward at time for space etc. Tool to flare the pipes are cheap from the bay click me The pipe is standard 3/16 pipe as is the ends click me ....and for ends No need for pipe bending tools as the brake pipe is easy to do by hand.
