I have a pair of vr6 hubs I can lend for a short time, just about to start my next project so would need them back soonish. How long do you need them for? I can bring them to the Stealth RR day too.

I had the same "experience" with the new Ford RS, gave its driver a wake up call. Both cars were similar on the long private road, not sure how they would compare through the twisty bits or from standstill. Glad your happy with it too, i remember the first day after I finished mine big smiles for weeks (and still now) I look forward to seeing what you manage to get out of it.

Two thoughts, the scrub radius will be impacted anyway by those of us with non stand width or offset wheels is the backing plate required, if so maybe a laser cut backing plate/splash guard would over come the possible clash issues

Performance wise Im very happy, but am as you know looking to get more out of her. There is a flat spot around 2k rpm but is more noticeable when in general driving and not "demon" mode. I am wondering if the flat spot is to do with old audi/vw flashfiles as there were upgrades from the dealers to iron out this (prob ampified in the corrado due to the chassis etc), so if I can get the ecm flashfile updated to the new version I can check this theory out. But I dont think it's a problem as such, just a nuisance. Just bought myself a very cheap OBD11 bluetooth adaptor for the Audi and it works really well with the App "Torque", so much so I thought I would see if the corrado also allowed for real time wireless analysis, and yup it does. Still need to play with the app a bit more to take full advantage, but may come in usefull for the stealth rolling road session I'm booked in for in a few weeks. cant wait, but a little aprehensive as Ive never had a car on the rollers before! The RR session is planned as a corrado group even so will be a good chance to see a few familiar faces and to also put names against those Ive not met before.

wow, how well does it fit around the screen edge, pillars and doors? your dash looks like a b7 not a b6

I used yellow/amber led's, come up fine when indicating. Would pass the MOT

keeping an eye on this, any chance you could do a regular photo update on progress and work involved?
-
loads and loads of threads on these topics, I suggest you do a search first

I tried lights similar to yours Tooand, they look great but I found them to not be as effective as good standard bulbs. Angel lights are OK on some corrado's. somehow one corrado can pull it off, yet another can look cheap and nasty. FYI. the ones you shown in the link are the budget versions, ie plastic front instead of glass. In-pro are the better quality versions.

Found a red one at the McDonalds next to Glinton Peterborough. Reg ending SFL or SLF

mr monkey, are you stealing my find? I already highlighted that link on the previous page. Joking aside, nice work. I'm hoping to make it to the stealth rr. would be a good chance to talk about this a little more.

chrome wrap would look crap. the surface finish on what ive seen isnt great so makes the whole thing look pants. plus the cost of a decent wrap is not far off a basic respray. whats the reason for the change in colour?
