Looking good, always like those wheels!
-
Glad your happy with the seats my friend, what leather did you choose in the end? Looking forward to seeing them installed

A popular one is the rear wipe deletion and some opt to remove the 3 side bump strips Which probably are the 2 easiest and reversible mods for a sleeker look. Have a look at people's members threads or do a search....

Well I couldn't have mine being the slowest!! Lol ---------- Post added at 4:16 PM ---------- Previous post was at 4:11 PM ---------- To be honest, he came across so well and passionate about this setup and that really aided the whole transaction. I'm enjoying the research and have learned so much, thanks to Craig for advise and information and I guess I'm going to need to meet this chap 'Vince'.

Thanks buddy, its getting there!! I'm currently sat in Bobbys garage whilst he's removing the supercharger kit, I woke up at 6 this morning, girlfriend saying your mad! Checked oil etc and topped up tyres and off I went! To say I got here rather quickly would be accurate, great drive with eyes like a hawk looking for 5 0.... Just need to organise a few parts to complete my setup but it will include, Supersprint mani, big valve head, quaife diff, rebuilt box, spacer gasket and ARP bolts. Lightened flywheel and a few other bits here and there. I have got 2 more engines 1 of which is OBD2 and speaking to Bobby he said the obd1 and 2 heads are slightly different and the 2 allows more lubrication to the chains. He's seems like a really decent chap and you can tell he loves this setup and I've heard the machine running and it sounds just fantastic! Will update things soon!

Had the manifold done today, so just need to finish wrap and paint the new end but its a perfect made to measure fit. That's how it looked when I bought it....

Had a nice time today guys, especially listening to your Charged VR! It sounded just awesome! Good to meet new faces and impressed with all your cars. You have totally convinced me Rotrex is the way! Ps you weren't joking about the manifold being a bitch to wrap!

It's just the adaptors, no bolts included I'm afraid
-
Quick update, replaced the 2 small bolts that slide the window up and down and now the door is closing nicely and with a good sound. Had the Supersprint Manifold blasted and the end chopped off and on Monday the car will go in to have the new end stainless welded and will probably install a flexi to cope with any flex. Will have a new flange and all new bolts. Gave the mani 2 good coats of High Temp paint to protect it. Just need to start wrapping it and a friend lent me a special tool and some stainless wire instead of the stainless clips as he said they are not as good as what he gave me. Also managed to file down the plastic handle pull part so the chrome pulls don't catch and worked out where I needed to shave it and it doesn't touch at all. Just need to do the passenger side. Might do it Tom.

I'm just about to order tyres for my RH ZW1's, they're 8.5 wide and will be running as stated above 215 35 17. Bmth James has the same set on his car and he recommended 215/35/17. Others recommend 205/40/17 but I think it's a bit too much stretch. Here's a picture when James lent me a couple of wheels so I could try them out whilst mine were being polished.

I purposely didn't reply when you said you wanted to sell up as. I did think, ' nah, he'll keep it' Like you say, it's a great car and you know it well

What about those nigh time driving glasses they used to flog at BP petrol stations on Father's Day! Remember those! The strange thing with the headlights being bright is that you always look at them for some reason?! Lol
-
If the tree branches haven't fallen in heavy winds etc then I'd say it looks dumped. The wheels are straight even though the car is at an angle so I'm going say its been ditched. Have you reported it to the police to see if its been reported stolen?

Looking for the above please, need to make sure all tabs on the back are sound as a couple of mine have broken off. Cheers Rams Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

I have for sale very good condition 5x112 adaptors to suit 5x100 as per the Corrado Vr6 and other VW / Audi fittment. They are 2 x 25mm and 2 x 30mm Purchased from German eBay and originally they sent me the the wrong adaptors, so I returned them and I bought another set as in the mean time. So the set I bought 4 months ago finally arrived yesterday so that's the reason for selling them. £120 Delivered

It is indeed! Was nice to meet you too and well done on winning your event. My girlfriend is now happy the Lounge doesn't have 'car bits' as she calls it! I'll keep an eye out for a heated loom for you...
-
Thank you KipVR, legend. Just got home after rigging up the new loom for the seats and all done. The passenger back rest is not adjusting electrically but it's going up and down so hoping it just needs a new switch but it was dark by the time we got them in. Will check tomorrow. I think these are still available for ARZ and the likes... Fitted seat belt stalks but fitted them over the covers and thinking they should be inside the covers but will check again how it goes. Really need to take my OBD2 loom out and get rid of some excess wiring that's not needed so there's less mess behind the fuse board. Wheels are taking a bit longer and my good friend Kev has been giving them a final wet and dry and polish and painted the rim inside and will build them back up so hopefully wheels on in a week or so. Got to have them fitted to see what they look like even though the winter is here!
-
Where do you start? I was hoping it might just pop out but perhaps I need to somehow get underneath it? Any tips gratefully received. Cheers For that
-
I wonder how difficult this little part will be to replace? Anyone done this before? It holds the guide arms for the sunroof deflector and its plastic. Cheers
-
I think the black is the orange that's lost its colour? I haven't tried cleaning it but it didn't look like it would clean off? Do recaro seats use different stalks to other C seats would you know?
-
I will have a ganders at that. Cheers

Could you ask your trimmer to cover them in cream leather, if the leather is stretched and glue down that could work?
-
Long screw driver to your ear and place it in different areas. That's what my mechanic does. May help you find the noise. Have you checked oil level and gearbox fluid level/power steering bottle? Also this whine, could It be the power steering as this can whine when cold etc till it warms up? Have you check tyre pressures recently?
