Very nice! :-D what are you running bhp/torque wise with that lot?
-
Just a guess really mate never heard of it happening but you appear to have tried everything else! It does sound like fuel starvation and the fact it goes away at WOT would lead me to think the ECU is being told its at idle till the WOT switch is closed. Check it from the ECU end of the loom to make sure you get a clean open/closed signal from both switches Best of luck mate :) Dan
-
Just a thought but if the problem gose away with the WOT switch taped up I wonder if the switch cable is shorting when the WOT switch is open? Would be worth checking with a meter from the switch itsself to the ECU end of the loom, just in case the ECU is getting the idle value untill you hit WOT! again sorry if you have already tried this just chucking ideas in hope you get it sorted mate cant imagine how pissed with this you must be by now!! Cheers Dan

I got a few from BVF last weekend but it was Sunday and they all came out sh1te due to a touch of the DT's  Amazing to see a G60 in that good condition, it really really is proper showroom nick!
-
I did a search on "one of these" but it didnt return any intercooler shizzle  Try here: http://www.thsparts.co.uk/intercoolers.htm

I had almost the exact same issue with mine not so long ago, began with a few flat spots/hesatation and over time got worse and worse, turned out to be the leads breaking down so new set from GSF and we where back on top :D
-
Yep I was quoted £850 to supply (not fit) a new one for my G60
-

Cheers mate  I was just finally getting round to replacing the blue (knackered) bumper that was on the car when I got it, it has a nice green late spec nose now and I am very pleased with it :D Cheers Nikki + Peanut for supplying the bumper, 3Corsameal + Dukest for supplying the fog lights and scarlet_vr6 + Goldie for supplying (and delivering) the indicators Last but not least thanks to Tom for giving me a hand (and a dry barn) to fit the above 8) I will be getting some pics up when I finaly get Vista to work with my phone
-
Thanks Supercharged I thought that was going to be the case :? Worth a warning to anyone who is thinking of removing their bumper: MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN AXLE STAND UNDER THE FRONT MOUNT! Better safe than flat
-
:D Thats the easy bit done then now you have to get the old one off an fit the new one which is a pain in the ass with all that boost pipework in the way, also one of the metal coolent hoses is held on by the bottom bolt too :( Its not too bad but not a 5 min job! best of luck
-
Just went to fit my new bumper, removed the two bolts on the passenger side and the engine nearly fell out on my head! I guess this should not happen right? As far as I can make out the circled red bit on the attachment should still be fixed to the cross member? Not happy this is the second time my car has tried to kill me now :-(

Looks bloody lovely mate and one of the few C's I have ever seen with a properly fitted Riger grill! :)
-
Hi Mate, The glove box light has an on off switch on it, when switched on in my car it always stays on where as it should switch off when the glovebox door is shut! So its currently switched off and I very much doubt I will ever get round to fixing the switch! As the glovebox is a right bas*ard to remove
-
Check your glove box light, I put my phone camera on record chucked it in there to prove it was why my battery was not lasting as long as it should!
-
Anyone seen these pics of the G charger being made? http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5679 Sorry if its been posted before but I was impressed guess its just a G-thang :-D
-
I did this for my 30th last year and it was bloody brilliant!! http://www.silverstone.co.uk/php/de_sin ... er_exp.php Cant recommend it enough and on top of that with all the lovely cars running about doing experience days and track events, my G60 got a lot of looks and positive comments 8) I thought about it loads as you get a choice of Caterham and a few other very quick cars but after agonising for a while I had to go with the Single Seater as its got to be the closest thing to an F1 experience you can get! Dan
-
Slap a 3.5 Bar fpr in there too if your going with Red tops, then get your charger over to Darren @ Gwerks for a full port and health check 8)
-

-
Will a 16v mk2 golf 4 branch manifold fit a valver?
DanVW replied to cardboard's topic in Engine Bay
Toad will be able to confirm first hand as soon as I get my finger out and strip the 4 branch from my Golf  -
