Breaking 1995 Corrado VR6 - 117k, Full Black Leather
easypops replied to Purple Tom's topic in Cars for Breaking
daves16v, the maker of a few things on here, does a repair kit for the headlight switch, cheap too(£5ish), its 2 metal lugs which means once repaired its bulletproof. Failing that a mk2 golf one will fit and seems a wee bit sturdier? There is a how to somewhere.....in the wiki maybe(not that i can find the wiki)......its out there somewhere though -
aclwalker a member from quite close to where i am had this happen to him and he wrote quite a detailed thread on how he replaced it......... http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?39173-Crack-pipe-burst-VR6!&highlight=crack+pipe

THE Corrado Forum 2.0 FEEDBACK THREAD

I sent you a PM Andi, to see if it works as i got an email telling me i couldn't recieve a PM from C5 OEM as i needed to empty out my messages , which i did. I'm guessing the message was lost as it never showed up. I have since PM'd him back but neither that message or the one i sent you have appeared in the Sent folder. The PM was also to ask if i could go back to Donator status?........not too worried about it saying it, just like the idea of having more storage space :)..........oh and after much looking i cant find the wiki(knowledge base)............the info is here http://fastpurple.com/wiki/ but isnt very easy for people like me to work out whats what lol. None of this is critisism btw, i appreciate all the hard work you and the team put in ...........salute smiley Martin -
No idea.......but i hope you're gonna wash them lol :-)

Just how rusty can a late Corrado be...this rusty!!
easypops replied to Purple Tom's topic in Exterior
Hate being a vulture.........and this is only if you do break it..........i'd really like the passenger wing if its not rusted away.......i'd also love the bonnet and the passenger door, but know they would maybe have transport issues ( which i'd look into if all were ok and not too dear  ).........its only that as you'll know its very rare a breaker comes along in the correct colour.........i could even swap panels as i've been hoarding a few  -
Looks great
