This is one for Andi i guess? There is a small icon, sometimes green under the username status eg Donator/Super Moderator etc Some only say the username when you hover over it.......BUT some people are either on a distinguished road or an unknown quantity So what is it? :scratch:

I dont think the chains themselves fail........i think its the guides that eventually wear out.........someone with proper knowledge will answer this better(kev) :)

My belt tensioner(opposite air box on side of engine) made a fair bit of noise before it disintegrated, which also got louder as you revved it more.........

I for one hope you can sell it..........hate to see a perfectly good car being broken........BUT i do understand the reason you'd be considering it as sadly they seem more valuable in bits:(

Maybe best to let people know where you'd drive the 40 miles from? Or is it just a random 40 mile drive in celebration of getting the required passenger wing? :)

I think VW will still sell them...........i got a couple of tins of twilight violet a few months ago and yes they come with the laquer........took about a week for them to arrive though :)

The release fork on mine broke too..............the biting point got really low then the pedal started coming back up in 2 stages,sticking slightly in the middle.........i relaced the slave cylinder which did no good.......new clutch,release bearing and fork and all was well again

I'm not sure i'm seeing the same as you mate........the only ads i see are at the top of the page.........are you saying there is an ad in every reply? The ones at the top dont bother me to be honest..........i donate(occasionally and no vast sums) to keep the forum going as i enjoy reading it and am happy to try and help with anything i can advise wise(which isn't much) ...........i'm sure andi would be happy for you to donate ...............without conditions though ? -

I have one.........the one i removed to give to VR6Pete as described in his thread, which he didn't need/want eventually http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?52275-Heater-Controls-for-Corrado-VR6/page2 The one i have is black though.......possibly out of a set i took out of a vento.......looks identical to the one VR6Pete describes.......if so i'm happy to post you this one :)
