Location? And no pictures showing? -
Decent radiator supports are not easy to find, they are all getting on a bit and if it’s lived outside for 20 plus years then you’ll be lucky if it’s intact, never mind decent condition

Yes mate, I’ll pm you tomorrow:)

I know exactly how you feel, I bought a Storm a few years ago, turned out it had a lot of rust as well, most of the offside was rotten as was the windscreen surround. I was lucky enough to have a parts car(or 2)I could rob bits off to do the repairs, well above my skill set so I had to hire someone to do the panel work. I got the car fairly cheap(£1250+£250)shipping) so I wasn’t too put out with the welding costs which started at £300 but as the extent of the rust became clear that figure climbed to about the same cost as the purchase price. It’s currently sitting in the back of a very well respected paint shop patiently waiting on its turn, expecting a £2500 ish bill from them eventually .......I’m in zero rush so I’m not pushing them, plus I do have a red vr that I’m trying to get sorted myself (with friends help). My advice is, if you plan to have it long term, look into the costs and see if you could buy a complete one, if so you might be best to do that and recoup what you can from yours, or if it’s viable, fix it :)

I can hardly remember writing this post  I sent a full set to biggred a while back, at £70 a corner I wasn’t complaining
-
I have the fuse box clips as well

The bonnet release trumpet thing is difficult to get these days and the passenger side one(no screw) seems impossible to get. I guess if you had one with a screw you could map it and map it without the screw to do the passenger side? I have one of these and no doubt I may have various other bits I’d be happy to loan you for the process :)

Great information, I can see me doing this, certainly saves me searching around for someone to do the job, or even worse, me trying it myself:lol:

Not sure if you are on Facebook, if so join Team Corrado Fr, French Corrado page, someone has just listed a black leather Corrado interior ,non recaro, but it’s advertised as brand new, photos look good

Could be the isv damper, they go off with a bang, as does the belt tensioner when the bearings give up, although I’m fairly sure you’d know if it was that

Better than average:) I still have a couple

Fuel pump for a VR6? If so, I’ll have it please :)
-
I had this ages ago, when I had a working Corrado, I’d caught the fog wiring in the bumper steel when refitting it, which had exposed a wire.
-
I’m on both but rarely ever post on Facebook, although I have bought a few things:lol: I far prefer on here but it’s definitely quieter than it used to be but I’m hoping that it does go full circle as you’ve said.......no matter, I’ll be here anyway:)

I’ll take the fog light/indicator wiring please mate :)

Ok, so I have a way that will hopefully help you press the latch, although I’m doing it without a door handle in the way Do I used a long thin spoon, with a mild bend Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Don’t give up, I’m sure someone with better experience of these things will be along and will give you a better solution
-
It’s not a job I envy you. Even with the door card fully removed I can’t get my hand in the space to press the latch. The danger of doing it blind is you end up pressing the back latch. It is possible to go down the front between the door and glass but again that way takes you closer to the rear latch so you’d have to have a bent tool of sorts to get to the front latch
-
When you are pulling the door handle and it’s sticking, the striker on the handle is trying to push the opening mechanism down, this is how these handle strikers break. Be careful you don’t snap yours unless you’ve already replaced the striker? Best to try to push the mechanism manually , it’s the one nearest the door skin

This is to open the door, down to open Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This is the locking tab, down is locked, up is unlocked Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
-
Best to use Tapatalk for pictures as it’s really easy

There are 2 bits that the handle can operate, one is the latch to open the door the other ,just behind it will lock the door, you need to have the back one up and push the front one down, I’ve a door outside with the handle removed, would a couple of pictures help?
