Oops, didn’t notice the last question. As Simeon said, cables are fine, any ones I’ve seen have been a straight swap :)
-
It’s quits a cheap upgrade, mk4 rears are readily available and all you need is new hoses as the mk4 need the banjo type fitting. The calipers are a direct swap apart from the hoses
-
My understanding of it is. Lighter as they are aluminium Less prone to seizing
-
That’s weird, as I remember very well us tightening these all up to the correct torque at the time they were fitted? Or I should say, I remember you doing them all and no way you put them together without checking they were done up correctly?

I’ve got/had a few late VR6’s (M&N plates)and they have all had the 4 pin MAF’s, same as the obd2 golf VR6 I’m sure, all earlier VR6’s seem to have the 6 pin. Sadly I have no idea why and what the extra 2 wires do
-
They came off an early mk3 VR6 which ran the same brakes as a standard Corrado. I have a set that I was going run but they caught ever so slightly. You can shave a little off the callipers supposedly Best to give them a wee try to see :)
-
If you’ve done the 288mm front brake upgrade, they might not sit well under those bbs’s as they are designed to be over the standard 280mm
-
I’m sure that mk3 golf mechanisms are very similar and although they work in the same way, the materials used are more sturdy, and fairly sure you can swap your panel onto the mk3 mechanism. I think a previous owner/long time missing at least did a write up. Search for Redmagregor, at least I think that was his username. I met him a while ago and he convinced me :)

If it’s bad there, best be checking the back of the fuel cap as that area is prone to the same, lots of space for dirt/moisture to accumulate up about there
-
How much was it mate?
-
I’m not saying there is no solution mate, I gave up on it and set about sourcing a rhd set. I don’t think there is an easy solution however. The internals are the same it’s just getting it to fit. I even considered trying to get a centre console from a lhd to somehow use the lower part but it was just too much effort to think about
-
I also did that mate, I looked for ages for a solution. I bought a tape holder with the hope of using that to bodge a front. I even thought about getting it 3D mapped and trying to get it printed in reverse. I eventually found a rhd set

Have a look at the cables that attach to the shifter mechanism on the gearbox, one could have come loose. Also, there is a circlip under the gear gator that is a potential culprit if it works itself loose. This looks like it might help http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?49260-No-first-gear-And-reverse-difficult-to-select-Fixed-)&highlight=Gearstick+circlip

That is a Eibach ARB but I’d think the standard one should be similar? It should certainly be the same on each side. Have you any pictures?
-
It says the interior is black, and it also says that he is in Perth
-
That’s a nightmare Rob, I guess that as you’ve found the issue there is no use in me taking any pictures. I will post this one though as it shows the arb in place Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’m in the process of doing this mate, happy to get a few pictures of how I’ve fitted mine, although it’s still on axle stands. It might be something simple and obvious. Having said that, mine may also have issues when I drop it into its wheels
-
Can’t remember why, but I guess you are wanting to sell something? Probably to try to get you to get involved? Just reply to a couple of threads and you’ll be done
-
Ha ha Sean, just one set mate, can’t be many out there. I do have obscene amounts of some things, I was looking at my light accumulation recently and even I was surprised by how many I have
-
Can’t really say, let’s just say it came from a very nice guy, a real Corrado enthusiast [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi Dox, I can’t seem to find the wiki guide? It may be hiding in plain sight as I’m only looking on my phone. Possibly interested depending on the work involved:) -
