I’m away at the moment Chris, signal is terrible, I’ll sort out payment on Sunday evening if that’s ok? :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Did I sell you the cable? I’ve had no complaints from anyone else and I have one fitted to my own car.
-
Oops

Great advice mate 8)

If you look down each of the 2 bonnet release catches while someone else operates the handle, you’ll soon know if each catch is free moving, if so you’ll need to readjust the bonnet pin in the side that isn’t working, they have a decent amount of movement so it’s a bit of trial and error

Can’t quite believe I slept on this one. Maybe one day I’ll do a list  -
Mine has been blasted and powdercoated so my words are long gone

Only picture I have at the moment and it does look close from this angle. I ran this for 6 years on my previous vr without any issues so I know it does fit, although I didn’t fit it first time round Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have mine on the subframe at the moment, with the wishbones etc, I’m off this afternoon and I’ll try and pop up a few pictures from different angles. I can’t remember it looking like it would foul anything but I won’t guarantee it until I’ve checked

Looks like you are missing a bit from your loom mate. It comes in 2 sections, I remember now looking at it, your bit is the 2 relays and the plugs under the seats and the other plug goes to meet the secondary loom piece, which has the plug for the switch and the 2 thin wires that go to the fusebox Same as yours Secondary loom Switch plug Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a loom mate, I’ll dig it out just now and take a picture

I’ll step in if ok Chris :)

Ha ha, it’s been a year or so already

You're not wrong there mate. Anyway how's yours these days, last pics I saw on Facebook looked great. Those guys look like they know their stuff 8)

They are identical in size so I now have everything to do the rebuild........except time

I got them from VW mate, the part number is from a Passat. I got the information on here, wasn't that long ago and I just popped in yesterday to see if they were still available and hey presto, they called this morning. Here is the comparison to the one survivor I have Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not had any time to do anything recently. I did pick up a couple of the wee dust cover things that go on the rear stub axles. Not the cheapest (£5each) for what is basically a fancy washer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

William and Duncan, both cables posted first class this morning:)
-
It's a 9A engine that was also in the Passat around that time. Definitely a belt but there is a chain that links the 2 cams. No need to be going in there though :)

They were remade by someone on here, although if I remember correctly that someone new took up production at a point, best to read through the thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58587-Window-Rollers-on-hiatus-due-to-c*ck-up/page38&highlight=Window+rollers
