William and Duncan, both cables posted first class this morning:)

It's a 9A engine that was also in the Passat around that time. Definitely a belt but there is a chain that links the 2 cams. No need to be going in there though :)

They were remade by someone on here, although if I remember correctly that someone new took up production at a point, best to read through the thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?58587-Window-Rollers-on-hiatus-due-to-c*ck-up/page38&highlight=Window+rollers

Yes mate, you want one? I'll pm you :)

Hesitating to accelerate at low revs with misfire
easypops replied to sobinarthv's topic in Engine Bay
Are all the leads seated correctly? You wouldn't be the first to not get one on correctly. I had similar symptoms and the rear middle was on, but not fully home. Also, worth trying a wee water mist over the coil pack to see if it's arcing (in the dark) -
I do, will I send you payment details?

The small blue grommets that hold the Corrado badge on, there is also 2 of them that hold the rear VW badge on, these fail regularly and let water in. Also rear light seals and check the rear tailgate glass edge for rust under the seal especially near the rear wiper area and the number plate light. That'll get you started but my money is on the badge grommets

sold For Sale: Corrado VR6 Storm - Mods please delete

I have to agree, well worth the asking price. I'm sure a few lesser cars have sold fairly recently for about this price. Hopefully you are getting some interest via PM's -
My gap measures 13mm inside-inside edge

I know exactly what you are saying mate, I already have a nice red one and a couple of the new chrome ones , and I've a selection of fronts as well including a pair from renewart. I quite like the idea of having a red VR6 on the back of the Storm(when it eventually returns from paint) but I'm sure it'll upset the purists:lol:

Well done, although it's a sore one for something so small

I was hoping so much that this would have been missed by everyone on here, but alas the bidding is getting out of my range, I was thinking I'd sneak in with a £50 bid and be away with it. I'm out :) I expect it'll go into 3 figures

Welcome along :)

I'm not recommending this but it seems to be what's needed, although I'd also be checking with vw heritage https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122453733117

Nice one, somebody has got a great car there :) Oh and Jay, I don't suppose you still have the fitting instructions for the poly mounts you sold a few years back? I've got one but unsure exactly what goes where? :) -
