I never seem to get logged out? Using safari on my iPhone. Can’t remember the last time I saw the cloudflare or the girls bum picture:)
-
I know mate, I don’t expect them to use my bits but not to worry, I have more than one Corrado:lol:
-
The thing is, I’ve already bought the new arms and boots. I’ve explained that in the email to them. I’m happy for them to supply them though or use the ones I have. Time will tell what suits them best
-
Still going strong? I’ve sent them an email today to arrange sending mine down. Did you send it complete with the rubber boots and track rod arms?
-
More of a slippery slope than a ladder:lol:
-
Welcome along mate......Glasgow is a fine place to be, some nice Corrado’s up here as well. I don’t include any of mine in that statement but maybe one day :)
-
Well, I bought this a wee while back so I have to get it fitted, and as it’s OBD2, I need to do that conversion as well :)
-
I managed to get the engine out of my red VR6, first time I’ve went this far, I half expected it to crash onto the floor the minute it was loose but thankfully it didn’t.......I was ready to run anyway:lol: Photobucket is still a nightmare so only one picture available at the moment

Ha ha mate, Hoarders tax  I’m hoping that this year will be the year I finally get to use some of the bits I’ve been gathering. And I’ve got lots :) Christmas was good thanks, hope yours was too

I’m not sure anyone is checking this. I’m sure I paid double last year and I’ve just checked that I’ve had £15 taken out on the 24th and again today, the 26th to the title of Car Ventures . Is that for on here? Happy to contribute but not double:lol:

Merry Christmas Rob, and everyone else as well:)

10 year old thread mate, plus the guy hasn’t looked in here for 3 years :)
-
I was wondering that as well? Not sure what you would need to do to get that length of ban :)
-
I don’t know it personally but someone linked me it when it went up for sale as I’m not that far away and I’m known for buying them(the project types)

Was this the black one near Helensburgh?
-
Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the seats. Although I know it’ll likely be on Facebook as it’s not easy to put them on here. Love the work the resto shack guys do 8)

For some reason I think that car(and plate) ended up here somewhere, not Glasgow but further north and quite rural I think. And possibly moved on again since

I’m interested mate, I’ve already got a set but the part number is different. The ones I have are to suit 288mm front and mk4 rears, all banjo fittings. I’ll pm you my number and you could possibly send me a couple of pictures possibly? Cheers Martin
-
I’ve lost count, must be about 10-15 sets
-
Ha ha, just 5 mate :)
-
Thanks mate, it’s about time I started fitting parts instead of just buying them :)
-
I finally found some time to clear out my garage and the red VR6 at last came down off its axle stands and made it into the dry(and warm):) As I’m going to be doing the OBD2 swap, I’ll be removing the engine, which will allow me to get the wavetrac diff fitted into the gearbox. Plus I might as well do the chains/tensioners and any other associated bits while it’s out, including the 268 cams and the Schrick

Yes mate, PM inbound:)

Will the parking signs be back in stock before Christmas Anna? :) -
Agree with the guys above. Mechanicals can be fixed relatively easily. Rust is the big issue, check the rear arches, especially the drivers side, and pay close attention to the fuel cap area, dirt/moisture can accumulate up there causing rust all the way down to the arch and possibly up to the suspension turret. Also check the rear panel where the badges sit, the small blue grommets can break/fall out allowing moisture in.
