  1. I’ve been very quiet of late, really busy with work so car time has been at the bottom of the list. Jamiehamy has been here quite a few times over the last few months and I think he eventually got more fed up than me with the zero car progress [emoji23]. So over the last couple of weeks, Jamie has kindly given up some of his time to help me(more like me trying to help him) get the underside sorted. The rear beam has been swapped, all bushes/brakes/bolts etc replaced. The front is also well under way with the subframe/wishbones/rad support/crossmember/driveshafts/hubs replaced. Also fitted a set of coilovers I picked up a few years ago, FK of some variety? Eibach arb’s fitted as well. All bolts replaced with new where possible. Not there yet but it’s definitely coming along. All thanks to Jamie , cheers mate [emoji106] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Looks great, nice repair on the wing 8)
  3. You only live once, not saying any more than that ;) I have had a neighbor experience, many years ago now, it was mad at the time, very funny to look back on, surreal if I’m honest. Older lady situation, I think I was about 30 and she was about 40..... her man was a big guy, she had 2 kids, she semi stalked me for a wee bit once I had a new girlfriend
  4. Get some pictures up of both parties so we get an idea of the exact situation:)
  5. Self employed picture framer and driving instructor:)
  6. Ha ha, only a temporary silence, always watching though
  7. Brand new lupu wipers please, assuming they are both drivers sides :)
  8. Hi,

Possibly mate, I’m slightly hesitant because I’ve yet to discover if my rhd ones are actually working, not that I’ve any reason to believe they won’t. It’s just I’d hate to sell the lhd ones just to discover mine are faulty, as the internals are a straight swap.

However I am hoping to have a Corrado up and running, to some degree soon. A friend is coming over on Friday to help me push on with one of mine(sadly I do have 3). So, if you’re not in too much of a rush I’d like to test all the sets I have to determine if they are actually working. Wouldn’t like to sell you a dud either. Is yours lhd? Or are you planning to diy them in?

    Cheers

    Martin

  9. Good ceiling height in there, ramp? :)
  10. Possibly me but I got the idea from someone else, and that’s only good for the drivers side as the one mentioned above is for the passenger side where the cable terminates
  11. Well, I do have 2 VR’s so there is a definite home for 2. Who knows if I’ll ever be brave enough to fit the new ones? They are so nice as they are  I’ve also got a set of lhd ones somewhere:)
  12. I’ve bought a few sets of the vdo gauges over the last year or so. One set was brand new and 2 were used, a fair mix of prices, both used sets were about £170 I think, one with the sender was slightly more. I also got a new set with the sender which set me back close to £450. So one thing is sure, they ain’t cheap  If you happen to find a spare set of cream recaros I’ll swap you a set of gauges:)
  13. Maybe ask Anna from Heritage as they used to sell them for about £7.50. Hopefully they are still able to get them from classic parts without the comedy postage
  14. I’ve got some I bought about 18months ago. 4 cameras with the space to add up to 8 in total, 1TB hard drive, all the cameras have motion sensors and record for a set amount once triggered, the box records until its full then overwrites the older stuff. It’s been faultless since I’ve had it, although I’ve had no reason to worry as yet. One camera watches the front one the driveway at the side one the back door and one looks at the garage. I can’t find the exact one I bought, very similar to the hd swann one in maplin. The only downside is the hard drive in the control box runs 24/7 so best to have it out the way a bit if possible. 15. I may never weld again now that I feel so amateur:lol: Great work as always mate 8)
  16. If I listed all the spares I’ve accumulated it would be a frightening list. And I currently have only 2 interiors in my loft  Although I do have a large garage and 2 Big sheds  Won’t stop me buying though Giles, so you have been warned :) Sadly there isn’t as many temptations these days as I think I have most stuff covered. The above Shrick did tempt me but I need a running car before worrying about that type of modification Sent from my ONEPLUS A3003 using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I’ve got 2 VR’s plus one parts Car, none have turned a wheel in years and I’m not thinking about selling as I’d only regret it down the line. Both will live again and I can’t wait :)
  18. Merry Christmas to you mate and everyone else :)
  19. If you happen to split it up I’d be interested in the 70mm front lip
  20. Just paid mate :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
