Looks great 8)

I'd check all the leads are seated correctly on the plugs and double check they are in the correct order on the coil pack before looking any further. I guess you've not had a look at it yourself then?

Here you go http://www.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?3167-Emergency-Ignition-Switch-Bypass&highlight=Ignition%20bypass%20Hotwire

It's the VR6 grill badge he's after mate. If only they were that cheap :) Edit: too slow
-
Transponder ring on the ignition barrel plugged into the wee black box and seated correctly?
-
Far nicer I'd say 8)
-
Here is the pictures mate, doesn't seem to be a part number on the cap though. Very similar to the Corrado one.
-
Ah, sorry mate, totally forgot about this, I'll get a pic etc later on
-
Fairly sure they all rust off, I think I read somewhere it's not a big deal, in place in case a spark is created while filling up. Here is what it looks like on a removed tank And where it should be

No surprise there mate, it's gonna be a cracking buy for someone 8)

No mate, the above are small triangle clips. Fairly sure you'll need the whole part of that thing.....which I might have? I'll need to check though. Your other parcel was posted today btw :)

Are these not available from classic parts?
-
No easy answer to that one mate, the late ones are glass(think early ones are too)and are bonded into the plastic housing unit that holds the indicator.I guess the late ones break easier than the early ones? Long since obsolete(I think)so now becoming rarer and more expensive. Possibly available new through classic parts......I'll look later if I get time :)
-
Welcome along mate, I have a breaker(2 actually) and one still has the headlining in it, I'll check the condition tomorrow. Close enough to collect as well :)
-
Got one on a breaker here in Glasgow, no way of testing it at the moment though. You are not too far away, you could possibly pop up and try before you buy? :)
-
Got some in Glasgow too

My switch gave up the ghost a couple of years ago, I bought one from a sharan vr6 and swapped the external casing, did the job nicely. Only difference was the direction of the wheels. Like the one below http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=252019829054&globalID=EBAY-GB

The relays for the heated seats are behind the passenger rear door card, got to be worth a look to see what's going on. Central locking pump is in the boot, beside the fuel cap, under the rear speaker Behind the drivers side rear card is the control unit for the central locking/electric windows(I think that's what it does anyway )
-
I've got 2 breakers, however, both have rear passenger arch rust/repairs. Fire up a picture of the bit you need and I'll see if there is a decent but that'll match
-
Will do mate, it'll be tomorrow though as I need time to pick them off the car

93 VR6 intermittently cutting out and intermittently not starting
easypops replied to GreenRado's topic in Engine Bay
Bit of a long shot but it happened to me, on my old 16v. I found 2 split wires and the plastic sheathing was still intact, the wires in question were under tension where they plugged in and gave up eventually. I found them while rummaging around while the car was running.......I was chasing a very bad idle at the time, fixed the wires and all was well. -
Should have the interior light, door pins, plastic door lock pins, glovebox light, handbrake handle, seatbelt covers and possibly a couple of other bits but I'm at work just now and can't be sure
