Very very very nice Ed 8) -
Me and a couple of mates own one of these between us.....not a thin one though.....2 people could put it up full height in under a half hour(ours is 3 levels)......you could do it yourself to be honest , just so much easier with 2, saves all the climbing. The individual panels are light.....the boards you stand on are the only heavy/awkward bits.

I fitted my own liner, stood on the roof, 3 floors high, while my mate fed it out the velux to me, I got the end in the chimney and he went downstairs and pulled it down as I fed it in.......took about an hour all in, including a bit of swearing/laughing etc. Cost approx £400 for the flue, I went for the better spec stainless steel. Then it was about another £100 for the anti downdraught cowl, not to mention the mating piece between the flue and stove, and a few other bits I can't remember. Total cost excluding the stove was circa £600

Sounds like ignition switch, but that's been done? Check the connections are good at the back, which they almost certainly will be. I guess even new ones of these can fail?
-
Just don't break the clips

Welcome along :)

Did you have your key in the ignition?
-
Look at VR6 :)
-
Once you get it out, you'll not want to put it back in......a couple of well placed tie straps are just as good :)
-
Have you tried this, cheaper than buying a switch...... But remember to keep your key in the ignition as it'll just cut out(transponder) Hopefully you'll get to the bottom of it soon http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=3167&highlight=ignition+switch+bypass

When mine failed it would start sometimes, and sometimes not. Not sure about spark though. But for as long as I can remember, my starter motor was very slow turning. I was very close to getting another until I did the hotwire test, bypassing the ignition switch. Suddenly my starter motor was better than ever . New ignition switch and been great since

Check the lead is seated correctly on the plug. I found that's where my misfire was coming from, that was the back middle one on mine. I guess you have the correct tool for lead fitting/removal?
